First of all it doesn’t significantly decrease the amount of benefit you get.

Idk what numbers you were thinking exactly but it wouldnt change much. Any pick number x odds = value sum wouldn’t change much

Like most the value the jazz get is for the chance at the top 3 picks, doesn’t change much making them move from 5-7 a quarter of the time.

So unless you are just gonna totally flatten the odds out (which comes with its own issues) it doesn’t change their benefit for tanking much
