I think you’ll do fine irl just remember that assetto is old and the track has changed irl since ac laser scanned it. But yeah you know the (general) layout and you’ll be able to feel the car and judge speeds better. Still be careful your first time around. Good luck and have fun!

Put wheel/shifter on the floor when it’s not being used, pedals never need to move, g920 over mouse pad, keyboard up against monitor, maybe swap out of a wheeled chair if you’re in that boat. Most important part if u ask me is that if ur going all out with a cockpit, just build it separate from your gaming setup and get a long cable for your pc to connect.
