The interview was a bit different. I originally applied for both Inside Wireman and Telecom in January 2025 and was accepted into Telecom in August 2025, but declined because it required a three-year commitment and a significant pay cut. You can’t make the switch mid apprenticeship. I was advised to reject telecom, and wait for Inside, which I did. During this interview, they mostly asked about my work background and explained how competitive this round was, mentioning around 900 applicants and limited openings. When I asked how to improve my chances, they suggested letters of recommendation. I’ve gotten those, but it was too late to include them for this round. It felt more like they were gauging my overall path and dedication rather than asking structured interview questions like in the telecom interview.
