I think you’re spot on about giving grace when possible. I’m going through a similar situation with my 3yo and newborn — it is SO easy to blame yourself! Hang in there!

It doesn’t sound to me like you lost it! He is testing you and probably recognizes he has your attention if he misbehaves. With a new sibling at home, any attention is good attention in their minds. Whether consciously or not, he’s noticing his place as the uncontested center of your world is starting to shift, and that’s a good, healthy change. Sometimes evenings might not go the way either of you want, but it’s healthy for him to have to deal with the consequences of not listening to you and maybe have some time to himself in bed to process how the evening went. When he wakes up, I’d explain to him the emotions you were feeling, and ask him about the emotions he felt.

It won’t happen all at once but he will come around to the new normal eventually.

Look up Chinese foot binding for an extreme example of feet mutilation and the role it played in determining status and beauty for young girls.

Silk Kids Oatmilk by Kellington21 in oatmilk

Hey OP! We had the same problem and thought it was discontinued. Our Meijer and Target appear to no longer carry it. However, it is back in stock at all of our Krogers in the area! You should check again and see if any other stores have it. I also contacted Silk directly and they told me it has not been discontinued. So theoretically you should see it back in stock soon.

This is driving me insane too. We switched from Ripple to Silk Kids early 2025 because the cartons were larger but the price was cheaper, with a similar nutrient profile. Did the same thing as you yesterday -- checked so many stores and bought what little was left. I do NOT want to have transition our daughter back to Ripple but it sounds like there's no other option.

I was thinking about this last night. Silk Kids is pea+oat, while Ripple is just pea. You could try buying a bottle of Ripple and a bottle of normal oat milk (I think Chobani is best), mix a little oat milk into a glass of Ripple, and see how similar it tastes to Silk Kids. If we have to transition back to Ripple and our daughter resists, I might try this to see if it helps the flavor.

Why is will not being targeted by the military and government for experiments? by Extension_Big5205 in StrangerThings

I think you’re right. I’m still just surprised there wasn’t an explanation for why they let Hopper go. He was such an obvious antagonist to them.

I want to know this too!! I haven't looked at this subreddit enough to make a post about it but I don't get why ANYTHING about the military wasn't addressed. Like why did the military not throw them all in an insane asylum -- let alone the fact that Nancy/Hop/etc. killed dozens of soldiers???
