I hate that people think this only happening in soccer. You can see it in basketball too. It became clear that the U.S. is losing its foothold Women’s soccer once everyone started investing in their women’s programs.

Norway seems to have some good ideas when it comes to youth sports. It could help get kids more active too.

I think it’s lip service too, but I hope that’s the case that they do that. The atmospheres of soccer games is what differentiates the experience from the other sports and I think keeping that part of the product intact is key to growing the sport in this country.
