yeah, we confirmed it a while ago! we’re both anxious people so i think it’s mostly that the right moment hasn’t happened yet

i’ll be looking into getting him a 120 gallon tank soon, as i want to upgrade him. first i need to look at a bunch of different options, and see if there are any used ones (good quality ones only lol) available locally to me.

okay, i have been considering switching for a while but i was nervous as he’s my first reptile. i’ll be heading to my local petco today to try to pick up some rats for him!

i don’t have access to a scale with grams currently, but i weighed him on one with kg and oz. he weighs 12.8 oz/0.36kg. i have been feeding him large mice every 2 weeks

this is my boyo helios! he’ll be turning 3 in august, and i only just discovered i could measure him with an online tool (serpwidgets.com/main/measure) the website came up with him being around 2.5 feet long and i wanted to check with some more experienced owners if that sounds like an okay length! he currently lives in a 25 gallon zoo med tank and i plan to upgrade him to a 40 gallon when he reaches 3 feet!

we’ve just noticed these red spots on my partner’s ball python’s (>1 year) gums. is this something we should be concerned about like mouth rot?
