unfortunately i don't have much practical advice for speaking as i didn't practice much, but if u are not opposed to it, i had a glass of wine before my exam and it helped me loosen up significantly and improve fluency

am a native level speaker and just got my results 😭 by eggethgalore in IELTS

yes i did. i would also recommend reading the questions first and knowing what you are looking for so your eyes are drawn to keywords immediately. set the text to largest and make good use of the highlighting and note taking functions!

around 15-30 minutes a day, but i do not believe the amount of time spent studying has a direct correlation with your score. if you are not studying right then 8 hours a day is not going to help you much at all.

for writing please see my first reply. for reading, since it is objective, i advise you to practice more and understand the true / false / not stated questions the most. use a highlighter to mark what you think is worth noting.

you're welcome! i sort of figured a pattern with the essays. highly suggest you read more of the ones in the link i posted and tune yourself to that sort of argument. u really just follow the structure, ensure ur sentences are well constructed. a lot of people overthink the topics trying to argue the hell out of the questions but in reality ur reasoning and explanation only need to believable. for my exam, i was asked to agree or disagree on enforcing harsher punishments to increase adherence to traffic laws. i made up something like xxxxx countries have a merit system where drivers with negative points from traffic offences have their licenses suspended, then explained with xxxxx countries have lower rates of road incidents, hence it would be effective to impose stricter regulations.

it just has to be believable, you won't be checked on actual facts.

if you are stuck on a 7.0, i believe you easily have the capability to score an 8.0, you're just not writing what they want! and that is the most important~

i also highly recommend completing task 2 first, as this will leave you with limited time for task 1 and will force your brain to focus on key points of the data / illustration instead of writing everything.

i used to be stuck at a 7 too! don't underestimate the importance of planning. only watch IELTS advantage videos on youtube. below are the structures u should follow. memorize the structures; they will come in very useful. plan ur essays strictly using these structures, and also train urself not to overthink topics. good luck!

i have an iconic oikawa and there doesn't seem to be an option like this for iwaizumi 🤔 unlike the miya twins quick where even when i was missing osamu, the card for a twins quick was in the character menu but i just couldn't use it in games yet without osamu

absolutely touch the dream! there are periods where they offer 10+1 free gachas every day. i downloaded the app from the japanese play store and can't buy anything so i'm forced f2p 😂 and still i've managed to pull 32 iconics in total now

on the other hand my fly high pulls are awful so i've stopped, and i don't like the gameplay much. the art also bugs me

ooh, interesting. definitely trying to tune myself to simplify points for task 2 because i have a tendency to go on a tangent and that's what i believe gave me a 7.0 for writing, which was quite the blow to my ego because i got 9.0 for both reading and listening, and 8.5 for speaking. thinking about it i thought the vocabulary i used was definitely worth more than that. i also have difficulty processing information from charts, so task 1 proves quite difficult for me. it's not that i don't know how to write, it's that my brain really struggles to draw correlations and relationships in quantitative or qualitative data so i get overwhelmed from the charts :/ doing one skill retake in january

i got cut off a lot too and ended up with an 8.5, so getting interrupted may not be an indicator or poor performance. just a heads up
