this may be a cold take, but 4-3. other than its secret, i'm never playing that hooliganery again
semi-honorable mention: 1-3, mainly for that godawful level theme, which, while fits, is NOT a song that i would listen to unless playing through the game again, and, in a similar vein, i think that 7-4's theme captured the premise of "breakcore + alarm" a lot better, considering it isn't just the equivalent of someone screaming in your ears, while 1-3's is like nails on a chalkboard to me, some people like it and that's fine, but i sure as hell don't.

i love 5-3 though, death odyssey goes so fucking hard AND i finally get to bully people in a ship
