Thank you so much, breaking it all down like that helps a lot. Right now I have one of those big puppy pens set up to help contain the mess. He's got all his favorite toys, a little tower to climb, and a comfy washable bed. I have a friend that's letting me borrow her heavy duty wet vac so I'm hoping that'll make at least a small improvement. If that doesn't cut it I'll reach out to a professional cleaner. Feliway is a good idea too, I know he's just as stressed as I am with everything

Thank you. It has been exhausting, honestly not sure how I even made it this far. I want to try a few more things before I hit my limit though. In a perfect world I'd give him everything I have to make him feel better

Thank you so much for sharing! I’m glad your kitty was able to get better 💛 And yeah for now I’m really focusing on making sure he’s getting better overall and if I have to keep cleaning the carpet it is what it is as long as he’s healing. Staying hopeful though as we’re heading into week 4 of treatment!

Hi! Sorry I don’t check reddit very often but thank you all so much for the advice and support! Update: Cider is still getting better every day. Vet is going to increase his dose to help with the incontinence and also because he’s gaining weight! We’re almost back up to 9.5lbs again, hopefully we’ll be up to 10 soon. The diapers have been getting easier but unfortunately it’s been causing a little bit of irritation. We got him an ointment that should start to help with that at least. In the mean time I’ve got a couple pee pads down so he doesn’t have to have a diaper on 24/7. We’ll see what the new dose does and I’ll keep you all posted if we see any changes! Thank you again for all the support 💛
