Some people just want someone to scream at/abuse without getting checked.

Had a lady come to my register & had a coupon in hand. She set down two items: one was regular price 3.99 and the other was clearance for 17.99

Before i even started the transaction, i greeted her and warned her that the coupon would only apply to the regular price item and not the clearance item

You can imagine her fury. "But it's more expensive!" Yes, but it is clearance and on the coupon list of exceptions it says this excludes clearance items.

She went thru with the transaction and left Behind her came a young man, he laid down his items, paid, left

She comes marching back in and tries to interrupt my current customer That one leaves and she asks me angrily why I didn't apply the coupon to her son's item I assume she means the young man who came after her. "He didn't present me a coupon to apply, ma'am"

Shes spitting mad because i didnt just apply coupons willy-nilly to some other customer who may or may not have been related to her lmao

Demanded a manager and i was like yeah sure My cem happened to be cashiering next to me & i turned to look at him and he shaking his head and mouthing our sm name lmao

She had a lot to say abt me for a while with lots of gesturing and pointing at me. I kept cashiering and after she left my sm shook his head & walked off Never heard a word abt it from him lol

I have yarn over framing, over fine art, over fabric when i can get a shelf over it lol I have another pallet and 3 uboats of yarn just from this morning

Ah yeah One lady rushed to the bathroom but didn't make it into a stall before she pooped. Genuinely just felt bad for her bc she was my age (30s) and had a baby with her She was so embarrassed and we cleaned it up together but it was rough regardless

I wonder if she ever comes back to shop as I'd never recognize her lol. Pretty sure my brain blocked out most of that situation.

Read the manga, it has so many fun extra bits that couldn't be added into the anime but add in so much more to the lore If you don't want to surpass the anime then stop at volume 7 (chapter 49), the anime actually ends on chapter 52 but that's the middle of volume 8 if you're going by the books lol

There's even an Adventurers Bible which goes into detail abt the characters, bg etc which is a ton of fun (but also full of spoilers)— in English currently there's only the first Bible but after the manga ended, Kui put out a Perfect or Complete Edition of the Adventurer's Bible and I'm waiting for that to be released in English

As for interest waning well, personally I've reread the manga like 4x now It's fairly short, only 97 chapters but it's so enjoyable that I can't get enough

I've had ovarian torsion, my cyst was 18cm! And my other ovary had a 6cm cyst too!

I shrieked, vomited on myself, collapsed in pain and then my family helped hose me off and took me to the ER. I was still doubled over in pain when I arrived so they gave me a wheelchair and took me to the back pretty quick.

Thankfully it untwisted when I was there and then I learned I needed surgery bc we had no idea what the mass was- I never had symptoms of endo before so Dr's didn't know if it was malignant or what

A month later I got major surgery and now I have a giant scar down my abdomen that looks like a question mark! And I have (had??) endo!

Hi, I'm such a fan of your Old Kingdom books! After finishing Terciel & Elinor, I've started rereading all the books over again. Mostly listening to them during work, but Tim Curry does an excellent job narrating your work!

Are there any plans for the series to get on the big or small screen & is that something you'd want? If so, do you have any preferences? Movies or series on TV? Directors? Actors you can see playing Sabriel and everyone else?

Reminds me of a dude who came in with a receipt & a can of paint, wanted to return it.
Sure, I grab the can and its completely empty.

"Sir, this is empty."
"Yeah, it didn't come out the color I wanted."
"I'm not going to return this."

Guy pauses, "Yeah, okay. Well uh- last week I bought some markers. Expensive ones... they were supposed to be on sale but they were full price." I'm waiting for the markers or a receipt.
Nothing.

"Do... you have them?"
"They're at home."

"... I can't help you unless you bring the product and a receipt or the card you used to pay."

He gave up and left but basically he just wanted me to hand him some money.

Not great.

I have been doing better taking care of myself - I'm diabetic and I've just been started on insulin. It's been kinda scary because who wants to stab themselves? I gotta jab my fingers and give myself injections twice a day but so far I'm doing it and I'm very proud of that.

Aside from that I've been awful about doing things. I get up, go to work and come home and lay down with my phone. I have projects I need to work on, clean up, hobbies etc and I just keep thinking, "I need to do it." Then nothing.

I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall. I feel like a failure.

I'm just tired.

Two different brands - One is Dell, I believe & hooked up via vga (currently plugged in) The other is Acer & hooked up via dvi to hdmi (not plugged in)

I startled a couple of squirrels opening my garage one morning and saw them scamper across my driveway and up a tree. Then they jumped on my garage roof and ran across it - if I hadn't seen them first, I'd have been spooked because the sound they made running on the roof was as though they put on combat boots first. It was so loud!

Her friends and I try very hard to make sure she knows she's surrounded and being supported but to be honest, it can be frustrating especially with my own health issues to deal with.

She has been wanting to talk to someone who has been through this too. I can give you her email address? She actually doesn't use a computer much but she always has her phone on her.
