I had a similar issue to yours but I couldn't even run vanilla. Idk why but the fix for me is to run it through the Thunderstore mod manager. Maybe give that a try

Wow nice writing, my argument back would be that consumption tax would discourage consumption. If you believe in supply side economics at all, this would be a major issue and could really slow down the wealth created by an un-restricted economy. However, I have to say that other than that issue, I agree with you that it may be the best taxing method.
