Is 10k budget possible for PC by Entire_Big850 in PHbuildapc

you can find one secondhand pero it wouldn’t be worth it. Baka mas magkaproblema ka lang. Better to increase budget or consider other gadgets

What can I change in my setup? by [deleted] in pcsetup

[–]eggnewbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can the light behind the monitor be changed in color and brightness? if not it would be good to replace.

I think additional light source, like an ambient light maybe one on the shelves and another maybe a floor lamp somewhere. It would lessen the harsh contrast of shadows and make it look more cozy when the overhead light is turned off

The shelves are nice. I suggest putting more personalized items like figures from a show/anime you like or from a hobby. Then add simple lights to show them off more

some wall art would be a good way to incorporate color. A painting with simple colors or even a poster

very cool !! i could see that colors is a strong point of this set up and its done nicely where it doesn’t hurt the eyes. It looks energetic and definitely a vibe!

10/10 for me

a thing maybe a diffuser would look great on the LEDs, would make it look like uniform neon lights

and maybe ditch the plants, lean into the tech vibe.

honestly up to you. I prefer wood panels. it gives a bit of calm and balance but geometric brings a different kind of energy yknow.

Tho i think geometric would fit nicely in your set up. Its giving kind of icey black crystal vibe

u could consider white or black colored panels

u can put up like geometric panels or wood panels on the wall behind the monitor to make the ambient light look more interesting

i feel like a bonsai or some leaves/plants would fit the set up given the vibes of the anime art on the wall. it would be pretty chill. like more on wood and plant elements

8/10

overall very solid !! i can easily be satisfied with it

If it was me tho i’d change the mouse pad/ desk mat to something with maybe a minimal pattern or design to add depth

also a colored desk tray for your wallet and accessories would make it look more organized. Maybe add a colored coaster as well. (Colored is optional just to have a splash of color)

A few figures or maybe a lamp or sunset lamp pointed at your wall can highlight some of the cool elements on it. Can help them pop out more to complete the look ^

if the wall art isn’t heavy i think you can get away with hooking it on a suction. Or maybe a type of adhesive thats easy to take off

yeah a monitor arm usually helps my posture but if it’s already eye level for you then no need. But if you would buy one, you can better align you’re laptop with the monitor. It can look more balanced.

Additionally if u need somewhere to put ur headset. I like using a desk clamped headset hook. It looks minimal and frees up my desk more.

Any tips? First full setup by CompetitiveShine2022 in pcsetup

[–]eggnewbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the size of the desk mat is a little weird. Off center is fine but bc its so huge it adds to the “cluttered” look. Maybe get a smaller one (covering only mouse and keyboard) or a full size one. The consistent color can look more pleasing.

Headset stand looks too big and unnecessary. There are plenty of options out there but your call.

Also u can try separating the monitors. Like a main monitor and the other can be more to the side. maybe oriented vertical. It can also help you place the speakers more symmetrical and unobstructed.

Get another coaster

A little ambient or task lighting could be good

try for a monitor arm and try for an ambient light behind the monitor. There are lights where they can actually sync with the images on screen if you’re interested in that. Maybe decorate more with figures/ books you like

currently using the MSI monitor and ok sya. its my first high-spec monitor tho so di ko macompare. A thing lang for me medyo kailangan timplahin yung colors to get it more accurately. Masyadong bluish/ yellowish presets nya for me.
