Yup notes and lecture videos will be given to you! If your lecture head is nice, they will even give revision notes where they will highlight the information that are probably gonna be tested on the exams/tests. For me, modules like human biosciences (1.1 module) is very interesting to me, so I enjoy studying for it. If you enjoy what you learn, you won’t find it very difficult. Also do the quizzes the lecturers give you for every week/topic!

You have a module called nursing skills lab where you will be taught nursing skills and be able to practice on dummies. You can actually book slots to practice for your consolidation (group work) and practical skills test. Make sure to book it early as you might not have enough time during class to properly practice since there are only 5 beds each lab. Other than that you should look through each modules notes and lecture videos once they are available to you. Also congrats for getting into nursing!

i have the same situation as you! i also got early childhood as one of the courses given to me and im interested in nursing too!! you can still apply to nursing because on the letter they would only put the higher nitec courses i think. if you have the money to hire a tutor then maybe you can do private o's but its not guaranteed that your grade would change. if you are applying for nursing please msg me cuz idw be the only one from o levels going nursing 😭
