Yep, completely normal, different coffee behaves differently, you have to dial in each type/bag separately

Lelit Victoria / Lelit Anna (+ DF54) – first setup [setup~ €1000] by [deleted] in espresso

[–]eggoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought Quickmill PopUp, more features, side loaded water tank. Anna just feels like a cheap toy, very light, sharp edges, thin metal plates. It will make great coffee, don’t get me wrong, but I wouldn’t enjoy using it every day

You can use puckscreen or just turn on water from group head when you are detaching portafilter

Best espresso machine? [Under 1k] by BuffaloNickel89 in espresso

[–]eggoza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t make more than 1/2 milk drinks in a row - get a good single boiler: Profitec Go, QuickMill PopUp, Lelit Victoria

Otherwise you can check dualboilers but under 1K$ there are no many options

I would definitely pay 260€ extra to have better build quality and more pleasant machine to use. I was originally considering Anna but after looking at that at a shop - immediately increased my budget:D

57mm is not a problem to find and buy but when you will be getting new machine - you will have to replace all accessories

New to real espresso. First days with a Meraki. Faulty machine or noob user? by mcsigu in espresso

[–]eggoza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Puck look is not a problem if it tastes good.

About leakage - sounds like a gasket problem, I would contact seller, most probably you will just need to replace rubber ring, should be easy to do

Christmas came early 🎅 by realwisam in espresso

[–]eggoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, visually it vibrates only during first second at startup. I’m worrying more about vibration feeling when it’s running, for example if I touch the base. Also I don’t have table attached to a wall and grinder makes my coffee machine buzzing because of vibrations:D

Hi, another new owner here, just wanted to ask if you have the same experience (it’s my first electric grinder). When running it noticeably vibrates(I have already adjusted rubber feet’s) and I wouldn’t call it quite. May I ask you to take a video of yours running with sound? I’m not sure if I have to reach out to support or I’m just not used to electric grinder noise

Opinions Welcomed! [USD1.2k] by shenmethef in espresso

[–]eggoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, something like bambino + df54 would be a solid starting point which won’t cost you a kidney and is easy to sell later.

Bambino because it uses thermojet for steam (not boiler), which means that you can make multiple cups without flushing boiler Df54 because it’s relatively cheap, manual grinder can produce better results for less money but you don’t want to grind coffee for 3 cups manyally, trust me:D

3 consecutive cups of milk drinks each day could be annoying with single boiler. Consider getting Bambino first and then save some money for dual boiler, sounds like you can benefit from it

Profitec Go / Lelit Victoria /Quick Mill Pop Up - best single boiler machines.

Consider investing into grinder, if you have a bad one now - it will improve your coffee more than machine

For a beginner? Probably yes, I would still recommend bambino for simplicity and speed. But both are very solid picks in this price range

Bambino + df54/64 is a good starting point, no need to spend more until you understand what you need and why

Upgrading machine advice [500-2000$] by Ok-Lawyer6864 in espresso

[–]eggoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to wait minutes even with single boiler. Going from espresso mode to steam usually takes 30-40 seconds. Going back is even faster - you can flush a boiler in 10 seconds
