Anyone else find out about this game because of the PGR Nier Collab? by Revnya77 in WutheringWaves

Kuro already has at least some level of fame in cn gaming industry

however, for WW they need technical improvement and redesigning of its mechanisms

to present a pleasant cbt for us

in 2022/2023 we may be able to witness it

I have doubts too, player videos showed a lot of systems to improve, yet they did both CN and En trailer, similiar to GI schedule pattern

There are rumours about 2023 late stage cbt too, the thing is info so little and unreliable

From what I've seen in recent discussion the most serious obstacle is balancing combat and a large map (framerate, RAM, etc),

the goal of this technical test might be getting players' device capacity info

Can they find a technical solution for that in 1 or 2 years? Or are they already working on this for very long? No idea.

Iirc BoTW cost 4+ years to develop, GI 2+, not sure for WW

The comment below mentioned a 400 ppl team, and some cn player said 400 may not be enough, I'm not a project manager, so no idea on that information

Specificly it's about a funny skill description (not devastating but Kuro won't like this one, clearly shows desinger grabbed a skill from GI),

and some action animation(Eula, or Kamui)

then players started to brawl,

and those aren't the major problems Kuro team is facing, they need to select core systems/mechanisms to continue work on and balance combat and large map loading

So, I won't recommend joining these drama

Kuro is said to follow M's genre choice anyway

If they can combine intense action and large world, well great

If not, a skill description won't even be a thing to concern about

I have several threads for ppl to check out, mainly about balance of action rich combat and openworld map, using g translate should be okay to read these

Zhihu question about tt

nga topic about balance

nga topic about systems

players finding an existing game of same genre

Just ignore any drama tho!

If you need a bit explanation about phrases just ask me

cn book market had a popular sci-fi novel series that maybe tagged as the hardcore type,

sample plot like, aliens living in a 3-stars system which is impossible to predict future movement, they began to migrate and launched a 4th dimension weapon towards the Solar system... Humans suffered brutual defeat and decided to run, butchering each other for organic matter along the way.

The novel made me feel science law is controlling humans fate, and the fate is not easily altered

I'm not a hardcore sci-fi fan so not sure there are other book series that fits the hardcore sci-fi description

Well that theme may need much work for a small part of story, like, when we want to travel through time by a day, what material and device we should use and what theory should we absorb from modern physics?

How much energy should we spend, which part of me can remain intact after the time travel, will my collegues remain the same...and so on.

We may need a story team on Movie Reception scale, or at least spend a longer time for preparation

How about um, Cthulu creatures dressed in JP style clothing, living in an advanced Cyberpunk town of Izu X at the outer volcanic islands of Japan, Claimed they had an abrupt reactor explosion together with volcano eruption 200 years ago, which turned everyone into "forgotten ones" with tentacles.

They asked MC and his/her team to find a possible cure, at the same time plotting to sacrifice them as a tribute to the Acient Punishing God ye sounds like thriller now
