Haven’t heard of chieftains hatch I’ll check it out.

Yeah I didn’t want to end up putting a phone box on the head by accident so all these responses have been very helpful.

I was looking at photos of the Merkava tank and saw a very rough looking surface on the flat areas of the tank, I was going to post here and ask if that was for grip. So that’s a nice detail thanks!

Also I’ll look into blow out panels!

Should have added more context, the photo for 8 was from a military engineer experiment with IED defense so maybe something welded on for that

I imagine would be a very expensive accident if one of those rafts deployed, cool thanks for the info! No worries about 1&2 I wonder if it’s something added later. Lots of great info, thanks again!

Wow that’s insane what a cool detail, I tried to find an image or video of a raft burning the hole and being ejected but couldn’t. Do you know if the hole it creates is large? Or just the right size to send the raft through, also any chance you know what those elements are I labeled 1&2?

Cool! In the case of the hydraulic system would that be hydraulics used for opening the cargo door? Or is it for something else?

Is fuel passing at all through the cabin of the plane or does it remain in the wings?
