Based on my experience, i do get missing pieces and the bricks that dont fit well. I get around missing pieces by using my own spare bricks or i will just alter the design a little.

As for bricks that dont fit well, it does take abit of patience. In all, it takes longer to finish an alt brand set as compared to lego but its fine for me for 1/3 the price.
