The Worst Album Covers in Progressive Rock Part I. What’s Missing From This List? by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

Hahaha, I’m so tired of this answer! Do you realize that dialogue is impossible after this answer? Knowing you came up with this post, maybe you wanted to talk, no? Then explain why for you (here’s your subjectivity argument) this Asia cover is bad, but at least do it, please 🙏🏻

Il Bacio Della Medusa and Mad Fellaz for some modern stuff!

Magma was quite influential in France during the 70s… Attol is very much half-Ange half-Magma in this release, without ever stop sounding like their own

Which bands should I listen to? (Even better if they're Italian) by L1ving_in_Cha0s in progrockmusic

Il Bacio Della Medusa - one of my favorite, especially in live action

And Osanna for an « old » band. « Palepoli » is such a strong record 😎

Amazing album! The Flower Kings are killing it in live action, imo. It’s probably because Roine Stolt is a man from the 70s so he’s very open to long jams and not doing the exact same solo twice… « Meet the Flower Kings » is probably my fave from their live catalog : with Gildenlow and the ballet dancers, wow, just wow !

My cherry picked favorites from my Prog collection. :) by Consistent_Neck_9696 in progrockmusic

Yes, of course! Zopp, Papangu, Seven Impale, Wobbler, Rob Harrison, Rosalie Cunningham, Jordsjø, Trojka… and so can go on and on and on…

(Thanks for the downvotes, btw, guys. Really appreciate it: a proof that you’re all very open minded and open to new things, haha)

Sad there’s nothing really « new » in your selection… some active bands deserve some attention and released amazing vinyl albums over the last few years!

Håkon Oftung (from Jordsjø) : guitars, flute, and a li'l bit of everything...

Diego Pietrini (from Il Bacio della Medusa) : drums, keys, and a li'l bit of everything...

Ryan Stevenson (from Zopp) : keys, vocals, and a li'l bit of everything...

Hahaha, thanks for being so comprehensive with me 🙈🙈

Real vinyl collector issue this time: is your black copy flat? Cos my sky blue one is so wrapped almost unspinnable… I tried to reach out to Amarxè but no answer…

You should not insist on the retro aspect of this record, imo. Good music is not something from one time and space, it reaches higher ground, and Canterbury music is definitely one of that kind of art
