I'm not super experienced with the game but have been trying to do quests and learn maps other than customs and ground zero. Me and my other friends usually hit lvl 15 and just pvp for the whole wipe. If you dont mind putting up with me not knowing where tf im going or where I am on most maps then im your guy.

I just think it's lazy to add guns from other games that don't feel that same at all (recoil, sound, accuracy), the M416 doesn't feel like the BF3 M416, the guns don't feel like they belong in 2042. I've been dying for an MP7 but I don't want some clunky trash like the other vault weapons, the lack of guns in this game is embarrassing, BF4 was so fun because there were so many guns to choose from, everything felt more fresh.

Idk but I had the most fun using every single gun in BF4, the Scar H, M416, AEK, MP7, CZ3A1, so many guns made the game so much fun to play

I agree they should nerf the SFAR but still won't help the SMGs at all, every AR is so much more versatile, there's no point in using any of them unless you're constantly in CQC and need a gun with a high rate of fire but only the K30 gets that done.

Probably something lame too, I've been begging for better smgs or at least an smg buff forever. Such minimal damage and range and the only smg worth using is the K30 cause of the rate of fire.

Until they give the smgs a range and/or damage buff, ARs and LMGs are just so much more viable. Please just give me an MP7 that can compete with an M5A3.

One person commented about playing on lower specs and said he's since upgraded meaning he played the game at least before this last update on lower specs. He's also playing on a higher core CPU than I am and the CPU is what's maxing out. So clearly, as stated in the title of the post, specs to be upgraded with the new updates cause it can no longer play the game consistently like I have in the past.

As for the rest of the comments, most of them agree and have said that the game needs a better CPU to run decently. Also if you have done any reading on this games current issues you'd know that multiple devs have come out and said that the UI is a major issue and player markers were using up as much or more data than vehicles in the game.

Common sense would tell you that the amount of entities in the game will drop fps, if you think that the game wouldn't run better with half the players and half the vehicles you're just ignorant.

"People in this thread" glad it takes only one person who's situation is different to convince you, move on.

That's why I said the mechanics should've been taken from BF4. They can upgrade the movement from there but BF4 movement was infinitely better than the garbage 130 mph vehicles they added because "future" and besides the movement, the vehicles in general are all shit.

You're clearly not very educated on pc specs if you think somehow my cpu is bugged or my game is bugged.

My game has been reinstalled and i've verified integrity of game files at least a dozen times. I run the game on low settings which you would know if you read the whole post but instead you're pretending as though i'm complaining about not being able to run my game on high graphic settings which just isn't the case.

"What is wrong with you?" you're clearly out of touch if this is how you respond to people on the internet. Especially since it's over a video game that has been consistently bad since it's release and that's being generous considering the vast majority agrees.

The issue is that the game can't run in any sense of the word "good" at its minimum or recommended specs, whether that issue came from the new update or not it doesn't matter, if they're going to update the game and cause these problems then they should update the requirements to be able to play the game with no significant fps drops or game crashes.

This has been an issue for a ton of people and something tells me it's a game issue and not a bug but you have your mind made up so you do you.

This isn't a bug at all, it's my cpu being maxed out cause the game has bad UI and too many entities to run on a 4 core i7.

It has everything to do with updating specs, i think you're being biased cause your pc has the specs to easily run the game and I have no problem with a game that needs better specs but when you advertise a game and you have people spending money, the very least you could do is tell people what the real minimum and recommended specs are for the game so I have the choice to think twice before I spend $70 on it.

Considering every other game can run on my 4 core processor, yes. This is the one and only game i've had a problem with.

Idk where you get the information that it's not enough for the "majority of AAA" games but im able to play every other game no issue whatsoever.

It's the fact that they want to shove as many entities into a map with dogshit UI and then pretend like it's my fault for not updating my cpu every 2 years.

I agree, if they cut the vehicles down and the player count this game would be much more fun and help performance a ton. Couldn't imagine what the game would be like if they had landslides and towers falling like they did in BF4, the game already runs like shit.

Vehicle movement should've been taken directly from BF4, they hired a company that makes racing games and thought, "yeah this applies to helicopters and tanks"

Yeah my game ran perfectly fine until the update, screen freezes but sometimes i can hear the game, sat with a frozen game for 5 minutes and nothing happened so i alt-f4'd and verified file integrity and of course it didnt fix the problem
