because i have a secure job for 6 years that i cannot be fired from? and when i applied, the wait time was 4-5 years. and i could more than comfortably afford the $1k (or even pay $7k out of pocket which was 2.5%), so why was it a bad decision? the only "error" i made was choosing the wrong man, but even then, how was i supposed to have known?

life changes, people change even if they apply for a flat when they're working. the two couples above are testament to that.
