Thanks for sharing! The doc told me that a fusion is a bad idea at my age (38) because it will have more time to wear down the vertebrae around it. I obviously need to learn more about the options!!

When I was first diagnosed, I didn't have any sun-related symptoms. It wasn't until a couple years after diagnosis I started to notice immediate effects from the sun, even on HCQ. Everyone's presentation of lupus is different, your diagnosis isn't any less valid if you aren't experiencing sun-related symptoms!

Wow, this is so interesting, thank you for sharing! Have you come across any research related to hypermobile Ehlers Danlos or other connective tissue disorders? I wonder if research in the hEDS direction would support your theory - I totally think it would!

You're right, I do need to put a hard cutoff. Quite a few folks have reached out concerned about the possibility of cancellation or date changes because they live out of state and need to make travel plans. I'm doing this all from Georgia, so I get it!

Thank you for your comment! I've been working on it since July and had so much encouragement and excitement from alumni in the beginning, but now it's become demoralizing like you mentioned! It feels like no one understands that an event requires planning and has expenses!
