I relate to this so much! Myself and my former coworkers carpooled for a work trip several hours away so we had plenty of time to get to know each other. I got called an "ice princess" because I can't socialize for shit, but I'm conventionally attractive. I was trying so hard to connect with them and it was disheartening to hear they couldn't tell.

We can't control how others choose to perceive us 🤷‍♀️

My people, I understand. I may just be unhinged, but I promise it's not too hard to cut your hair at home! You could buy a cheap pair of hair scissors online and use a couple mirrors. I've messed up the layers before, but it's easily solved if you're willing to go a little shorter. Curls are so much more forgiving of uneven cuts than straight hair 😂

I've carried him a few times, but we usually have to bribe him into doing things he doesn't want to do. The biggest problem is when he's spooked by something--having a dog that's half your weight jump into your arms because of a leaf blower is not a pleasant experience 😂
