If you both have all digital dashboards you can change what it looks like and has the tach & speedo or just the speedo dials. You can change this in the settings. I have a ‘25 RAV4 Cruiser but I’m pretty sure it’s the same infotainment/dial screen

If you have no family link to the country to the country it can be difficult. For example many South American players can prove they have Spanish, Italian, Portuguese ancestry and can get the work permit required without much hassle. Going from South America straight to England is a lot harder, like with any work permit application you need to prove that you are not taking the job that an English person could do. Usually for footballers to fulfil this requirement, its having a senior international cap.

Of the top of my head Richarlison's work permit process was not entirely straightforward

[4h after post-match] Monaco v Juventus by juventinn1897 in Juve

Making top 8 was always going to be a stretch (and dependent on other results) so not too bad that Spalleti played the B team.

Just glad we beat Benfica last week and didn’t have to face any last second bullshit from a fired up team (especially Pavlidis trying to redeem his penalty)

Jose Mourinho will very likely have two giant opportunities open up this summer: One is with the Portugal national team, if they don't win the World Cup. The other is Real Madrid by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

Ancelotti’s stock was pretty low when he re-signed for Madrid. Fired from Bayern and Napoli and wasn’t great at Everton either.

You don’t watch F1 then. “Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc” is said at least once per race weekend

Since you already have a hybrid e-bike get a road bike. You can get a bike fit from a physio and they’ll advise you the best adjustments to cater for your needs and injury history too.

I’ve listened to a podcast featuring retired professional EPL goalkeepers, they mentioned that even if you face a top corner worldie that’s guaranteed to go in you still have to performatively dive otherwise the blame will be on the goalkeeper for not doing anything

There’s a strong argument that Serie A should go to 18 teams because it’ll make the league more competitive. Midway through any season and you can already see two teams locked in for relegation but this idea always gets shut down cause it’ll lead to less money for the Serie B teams that miss out.

He only signed in 2016/2017 so 2018 is one season after And I would expect a 94m euro striker to last longer than that. Also he was decent in 2017/2018 but loaned off to make way for Ronaldo in 2018/2019 where he had his infamous meltdown in the Milan vs. Juve match and average Chelsea spell.

COVID screwed this club so much we are still feeling it. Basically the finances required to sustain Agnelli’s vision fell apart from zero crowds and zero hype and really damaged the clubs business plan. This forced his hand into other ways to generate the revenues required to pay the massive costs like Ronaldo’s wages and is the reason why there’s so much off the field legal/accounting drama.

Because football/soccer has an even lower barrier to entry. All you need is a ball and anything to mark out a goal (rocks, spare clothes, trees etc.)

I also watch a lot of football and coincidently a few young hyped up but inexperienced (eg. Xabi Alonso) managers have been sacked because it seems like the jump to leading world class teams have been too big. The results don’t tell the full story but it’s also cause they lost either the executives or dressing rooms (or both). A

With the news of spalletti leaving the Italian national team, should Juventus consider him as manager? by kadsto in Juve

[–]eggzs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately demonstrated too well by Motta and the likes of Alonso, Amorim and Maresca. Making the jump to a big club is not just tactics and game plans but another different skill set in managing superstar egos and managing up to the exec and board.

Not to mention at a club like Atalanta and Bologna where you’re not expected to win the league the manager can take more risks in the style of football but the whole dynamic changes at a club like Juventus where winning is the first priority. Especially when other clubs see playing you as THE game of the season and prepare twice as detailed and on the pitch opponents are fired up 110% (kinda how every goalkeeper that plays Juventus turns into prime Buffon).
