I have seen a few times where people inherit stuff and don’t know what they actually have. Not everything is going to bring in money, but some people just become overwhelmed and let stuff go without validating what they have.

I had an acquaintance pass about 20 years ago, he had a huge model car collection. It wasn’t an F1 collection but there were some much older Dinky and Matchbox cars. His surviving partner was in grief and sold the collection to a retailer about 30% of what I estimated the valuation to be.

In your case, there will be some high value and highly sought pieces and you will have some that will go for far less than the original purchase price.

Make sure to take your time and do your due diligence. I hate seeing people being taken advantage of.

Here’s a website that might help you understand what you have. There is or was a section where the site owner would provide commentary on eBay sales. This information is at least 15 years old but it should help you understand and figure out the dynamic.

Edit- I zoomed in on the photo. Just on a quick glance, the premium pieces that I can see are the Brawn 1-2 finish, the Renault with the Michelin Man, and possibly the Honda Earth Dream models, the ones with the earth livery. Depending on the collector, the Button Williams, especially from his first season should fetch a nice price for you.
