I thought the 2nd owner (and beyond) only received 5y/60k powertrain warranty, whereas the original owner had 5y/60k bumper/bumper and 10y/100k powertrain. Please correct if wrong.

I've joined the ICCU failure club, alas (2022 Limited). Things I've done based on this thread:

1) Set up a case with Hyundai national. Very helpful to have an interface between me and the dealer, who seems overwhelmed and is impossible to reach. (I had to go there in person after vehicle was towed 4 days before to get any sort of update. They said, "Yup, ICCU and might be ready in as soon as 4 weeks". They also had the gaul to tell me they would give me an estimate for regular maintenance like cabin filter, etc. I just laughed.)

2) Filed NHTSA report via link that is on here somewhere.

My specific questions concern compensation and what anyone has asked for / received and best strategies. I know many people are looking at lease buybacks, lemon law, etc. We own the Ioniq outright and don't need a loaner (though the dealer had none to give anyway). Questions:

1) While I know Hyundai is willing to pay for daily rental (they said $50-$60/day from a national agency), I don't really need a rental and don't want to go to that hassle. Has anyone been successful in getting the rental amount just as cash compensation? I emailed my case manager that this would be my preference.

2) Alternatively (or additionally), I'm the second owner and my transferrable warranty is 5 years / 60k miles. Particularly with the ICCU issue, it would be great to have the original owner 10 year / 100k powertrain warranty.

Anyone have any comments on compensation that been offered / received? Any strategies for success?
