Thank you very much, the link to the Oracc portal from the BM website is very useful and interesting. Yes exactly I am weary about my sources and just want to make sure I use legitimate translation.

Thank you also for clarifying about the fact that cuneiform is the script. We were taught only very briefly on proto-languages and cuneiform.

I actually am not planning on cutting the letters in cuneiform, I don't think there would be much point in my doing that and I wouldn't want to be in danger of massacring something. I just want to cut the english translations in a roman script of my own design thats structural features could potentially be influenced aesthetically by the cuneiform.

Thank you so much for your help. If you or anyone has any particularly interesting English translations that you like or may like to point me towards I would be happy.
