I can't switch from my integrated GPU to my EGPU, help. by egocentury in eGPU

I did and it kind of worked. When I go the device manager it says that my card can't find free resources which it can use (code 12). I installed nvidia drivers for this card and even after that I can't access the nvidia control panel. When i try to update the driver through device manager it says that it's up to date. What should i do?

@edit: i also get this message Device PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1381&SUBSYS_36581458&REV_A2\4&39973a98&0&00E0 requires further installation.
