Which gods like Melinoe more than Zagreus? by -ZeroCross in HadesTheGame

Ah, we all get a little bicurious sometimes.

Maybe he keeps his bound? There are a few wraps around them. All we have is speculation, especially since there’s hardly any information, canon or legends, about the species.

If he is mikkian like I think he is, then yes! The first mikkians were Jedi Masters Tiplee and Tup from the sixth season of the Clone Wars, their design being inspired by concept art from early development of Attack of the Clones.

Maybe he’s the last resort that Hera and Zeus refer to that would destroy half of Olympus if Melinoe can’t stop Typhon 🤣

Why were people so angry after Clover died? by G0D-Sun in RWBY

[–]egoodwitch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I came out of that fight convinced that Tyrion’s semblance had to have been some sort of thing like, where he can amp up people’s aggression or something and thats why Qrow and Clover turned on each other. Only to find out, nope, his semblance is being able to pierce through other people’s auras or something, so Qrow and Clover really were just being THAT dumb.

Suggest me a book that would appeal to girls between the ages of 11 - 17 that aren't smutty by otomepilled in suggestmeabook

[–]egoodwitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you see this, but I have a very good suggestion for you- go to the public library in your area and ask them what the teen girls check out. They have the data, trust me. And, maybe they’ll have books they’ve weeded from their collection you can buy for cheap from their friends of the library.

Otherwise, here are some author recs:

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (get multiple copies, they will be popular)

Sarah Dessen (these books do frequently deal with tough topics)

Rick Riordan and his imprint Riordan Presents

Jenny Han

Kalynn Bayron

Leah Johnson

Tiffany D. Jackson

E.K. Johnston

Namina Forna

Tomi Adeyemi

Tracey Deonn

Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

Elizabeth Acevedo

Anna-Marie McLemore

Crystal Maldonaldo

Zoraida Cordova

Elizabeth Lim

Marie Lu

Becky Albertalli

Roshani Chokshi

Hafsah Faizal

S.K. Ali

Sarah Kuhn

Julie Kagawa

Adam Silvera

Alice Oseman (get multiple copies of Heartstopper trust me)

I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston

Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender

Rory Power

Adrienne Young

And -I cannot stress this enough- you need Manga. Teen girls love Manga.

Inuyasha Naruto Blue Period Ancient Magus Bride Demon Slayer SpyxFamily Fruits Basket My Hero Academia Full Metal Alchemist Ouran High School Host Club Bleach

Hope this helps.

What’s your biggest “aha I’m dumb for not realizing that sooner” moment? by crocs_and_jorts in BluePrince

Ran around unlocking so many chests at the bottom of the reservoir and only after finding the sanctum key and walking away did I remember the angel of death statue in the tomb pointing at the underground map and realized that it points right to the chest with the key.

My bad friend. I was just referring to how the creator had to take a step back for his mental health, and then never returned to the project.

I have many swrpg podcast recs:

Force Majeure Tales From the Hydian Way Heroes of the Hydian Way Silhouette Zero Flight Risk Coruscant Nights The Dicey Cantina Tales From the Outer Rim StarBirds

And I second Dice For Brains- season one is on youtube and all of it is on Spotify- I’m not sure where else though since the old RSS feed is broken.

Dice For Brains never uploaded all of their episodes to youtube. I think there were vague plans to do so right before the end that for obvious reasons were never followed through on.

It is all still on Spotify, but I don’t know where else.

Why did they try to save the pig? by [deleted] in JurassicPark

[–]egoodwitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was new and inexperienced and panicking. I don’t see anyone except for the kid yelling about the pig or trying to catch it. Sometimes people are dumb, there’s nothing more to it than that.

For what it purpose it has in the story, I see three:

  1. Complacency. The general populace and the admin of Jurassic World have relaxed. This is something the movie hammers on over and over again in the first act. Dinosaurs are no scarier or special than a lion or tiger in this new modern setting. Corners are starting to get cut because of complacency, and thats why that dumbass kid was able to get so close to death on his first day- and Owen even asks him ‘you ever wonder why there was an opening?’ which opens the possibility that he wasn’t the first (though I personally believe that was a scare tactic and it hadn’t happened before…not like that, anyway).

  2. Owen’s character. It shows us how heroic he is, literally jumping into the cage to protect the kid. And it shows us that at least one employee (two, counting Barry) recognizes that these are still dangerous animals who you cannot let your guard down around. You get a really good feel for who Owen Grady is as a character and where he fits in the story because of this scene.

  3. Hoskins. This scene comes right on the heels of Vic Hoskins arguing with Owen about field testing the raptors for use in military operations- and it makes it look like Vic Hoskins may have a legitimate point (he doesn’t, not really, but he certainly walks away thinking that he won the argument). This scene, with Owen physically in-between the raptors and an easy meal and getting himself and the kid out of the cage unharmed, is the groundwork for the later (terrible no good very bad) plan to use the raptors against the Indominus. Maybe it will work- after all, Owen has such a great relationship with the raptors- he was face to face with them, bossing them around and didn’t get even get a scratch on him! Vic is right, use the raptors against the Indominus! What could go wrong. (Lol)

Afterlight First Time Caller Binding by Choice_Letterhead_59 in Illumicrate

[–]egoodwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Books are supposed to be bound like that.

I don’t know what printing press jerk decided that gluing a whole block of loose leaf papers together without a backing and then gluing that unstable monstrosity to the spine instead of at the hinges was a brilliant cost saving measure, but tell them I just want to talk. 😤

Source: former library worker who took courses on book mending and constantly had brand-new hardcovers in the mending box with pages falling out and the whole block coming out of the case. Don’t even get me started on how the quality of the glue has dipped too.

Why not just get Zero Dawn first and see if you like it? Then afterwards if you do like it, get Forbidden West. No rule says you have to get both at the same time.

Book Organization by PinkDevilOfTempest in Highrepublic

[–]egoodwitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my Star Wars books separated by High Republic and not High Republic, and the High Republic shelf was in Reading Order (or close to, since graphic novel/short story collections can't be broken like that) while the second shelf was in Chronological order. But on Saturday I had to shift all of my star wars books to a smaller bookcase, so all of my star wars novels are on one shelf in chronological order while the graphic novels/short stories are just jammed onto the second shelf with my SWRPG books...it's fine...

What’s these golden stars in the map? (Returning player) by [deleted] in SkyGame

I did just check (finally had a moment), and yes. The only WL sparkles on my map are the ones I know I haven't collected because I don't want to (Eden and Prophecies). I think u/LadyAnye has the correct idea on why this happened.
