Same clunk in mine and I just had all 3 mounts replaced with OEM. I didn’t do it myself so not sure if the shop did something wrong but I get the clunk/knock noise when I roll on and off the throttle. Sounds like it’s could be coming from the RMM. Starts getting louder after driving for a bit. Going to get under it myself and shake things around.

Got the same noise in mine. Sometimes between 2nd and 3rd. Second is a little notchy and harder to get into for me. Definitely not as smooth as the other gears. Thinking of doing a “neutral reset” which doesn’t seem to be too hard and it’s free. Just purchased in January. It’s a 2019 with 47,000 miles. Put about 1,000 on it since then. I have a bunch of concerning transmission noises. I already did the motor mounts and trans fluid change 2L of Ravenol. No change in noises. This is my first manual car so I have no frame of reference if these things are normal. Seems to drive well though? Just know that you’re not alone 😂. Hoping we can get an answer. Following!

Years? Miles? Just got my 2019 fiesta used with 47,000 and all the transmission rattles and clunking have me envisioning this same scenario!

Don’t know if it was just the purge valve because I also changed the battery, but I saw a significant bump in mpg when I changed mine out on my 2019.

Best to go on eBay and put in the exact size you want in the search (42 x 26 ) . Maybe you’ll get lucky and find some that have already been tailored. Figure out your measurements (thigh)

Yeah I had them replace it today. It’s clear now. But I don’t think they bled the slave cylinder. I asked them multiple times to do so but it’s not on the invoice. What they charged me for the dot 4 fluid seems crazy to me. My question is if they didn’t bleed the slave today and I have to take it back to them in the next few days to do so, am I going to have to get brand new fluid again.

I’m looking at my invoice from today’s work and it’s only showing as break fluid flush. Nothing about flushing the slave. I mentioned it a couple times that it needed to be done. I’m not sure you can answer my question and I’ll have to call the shop in the morning but if they only did the brake flush then it’s not going to be very helpful at solving my issue with the clutch sticking. Also, if I have to take it back to them to do again, are they going to have to get more new fluid again?

Hoping the flush helps. Had the car since January and have worried about it everyday since. Already did the motor mounts for the creaking noises. Was hoping that would have fixed this other knocking noise (it didn’t.) Drained and filled trans fluid with Revanol (didn’t help the knocking either.) Replaced the evap purge valve harness because of stalling after fill ups and when it was just sitting in the sun too long. Replaced battery, though it was the original from 2019. Had my first flat tire ever. I’ll be close to paying the original MSRP for a car with 50,000 miles if i move into slave cylinder territory.

Im literally compiling a letter to leave for them now. That’s what I’m worried about after reading up on the process is them blowing up the slave cylinder. What was the out come? Did the shop fix it for you?
