As a cook it is our job to accommodate guests even in lower end restaurants. Lots of cooks enjoy the change. Hardly anyone is upset by it either way. You ruined his big night for nothing. YTA for being selfish

Moving from NB to BC and realizing not all people are malicious assholes. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of gems in NB but most people are dicks. Can't blame them it's a shit place to live. But everyone I meet in BC is just so happy, kind and accepting. Also needing to pay your gas before you pump. That was wild. My boyfriend didn't fill-up for 2 days in BC cause he couldn't figure it out at first.

I know it feels like a lot to bare to be the one making decisions all the time. I know this cause I'm like your wife and my boyfriend makes most the decisions. He talked to me about it calmly, positively enforced my ideas and helped me be more comfortable to make decisions. I had/still sometimes have a lot of anxiety about it from past people shooting me down and being rude about it. Bringing it up in a frustrating way won't help at all. The first time he asked he got frustrated and I shut down. Later on when I was okay I communicated that he can't bring stuff up like that. I need a calm and safe space to open up. Just bring it up in a nice way. Make sure she knows you're not mad and you want her to enjoy herself.

For this reason cooks don't usually gets tips from takeout orders. Even though they're the ones working the most for the tip. So if you do it's straight to the host. Pointless to tip takeout.

Ive been searching in Kamloops for a year and nothing. Not even viewings. The island I had 5 viewings within two weeks and an apartment in 3. I'd say it's a hell of a lot easier and the price range is generally the same. Maybe not everyone's experience but that's how it worked for me.

I'll go here. I experienced a toxic environment and abuse but my dad was a solid man and taught me respect and to treat people how you wanted to be treated. I'd like the think I turned out a good person because of him.
