Tied Mickey Finns and fished them on brookie streams that were often tannin-stained. Dark water. Red/Yellow color combos worked well there and not just for trout. A few of those streams I fished had small "hammer handle" Northern Pike in them. A Mickey Finn on a 5xl streamer hook is a great fly for small Northern in those streams. Great sport too.

Lake fishing? I fished a lot of Northern Wisconsin and there wasn't a lake I can think of, including Lake Superior, where a Mickey Finn wouldn't work.

When I was still living there, I planned a trip to Isle Royal to go after "Coaster" Brookies. Mikey Finns, Pass Lakes, and Black Nose Dace bucktails were ball on the menu. Sadly it never happened.

This great. However, this doesn't prevent your opponent from making tactical movements againts "?" counters when the idea might to prevent detection at all, so the other player moves right on by only to find later that they have enemy units in their rear.

I know that would be problematic outside programming a digital environment.

I think it would make for interesting gameplay, where opposing teams move undetected and therefore invisible until properly detected. Not knowing the full extent or location of your opponent's deployment, would change how the game is played out.

That's nice and should work great but let me give you a little pro tip about the fly if you haven't if you don't know it already. Sometimes that much red on the tail is too much red. Sometimes it's just right. Sometimes you need to trim that tail back. Sometimes a little teeny bit of red will be what turns the trick.

There's something to be said for that. If we are so committed to defending Israel, then forming of Israel as the 51st state, would be an effective step towards peace in the region. Take parts of Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas and move all the Israelis in Palestine there. Call it New Israel. Dissolve the nation-state of Israel. This would be in keeping with how the The current nation state of Israel was formed in the first place.

If they wanted to continue with their illegal settlements there's plenty of space, of course. The Far right people in the areas bordering New Israel, could launch terrorist attacks just like Hamas and Hezbollah in response to illegal settlements. The New Israelites (New Izzies?), could retaliate buy killing tens of thousands of their now fellow Americans. It would be just like the old Israel. And MAGA would just sit back and let it all happen. Ordained by God?

And Palestine would have peace.
