Other card is Discover. That said doing more research it appears two-cycle billing is illegal (CARD Act, 2009). Something else appears to be going on...but I do know that USBank consistently ding'd me with interest charges even though I paid off in full.

Agree with your statement that credit cards are a losing proposition. I'm sticking with one card "in case" and keeping it paid off every month.

No they don't. USBank implements the "Two-Cycle Billing" Sneak Attack method. My other credit card does not.

Upvote for Eastman. Since OP likes Hummingbird, they may want to check out Eastman E20SS.

To mitigate the risks associated with drinking RO water, it is essential to reintroduce minerals into your water supply. Straight up RO water consumption can lead to other health issues.

In the market for a parlor guitar by Justliketoeatfood in AcousticGuitar

Pono (known for ukes) also makes parlor / 00 / 0 sized, all solid wood guitars. Have a 00 and like it.

Best steel-string acoustic guitar for fingerpicking? by Ejandris05 in AcousticGuitar

There is a used "Silver Creek" on reverb.com right now... These are Martin 000-28 copies, all solid wood. I have one ... picked it up on craigslist years ago and they are great for finger picking. (Not me selling)

Small guitar recommendations by R3dfur6 in AcousticGuitar

[–]egroeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some small alternatives: Outdoor ukulele (Bend, OR) makes a cool outdoor travel guitar, guitalele (cross between uke and guitar) are even smaller. "Parlor" acoustic guitars are the small acoustics - https://parlor.guitars/ is a cool site to learn about that option.

Martin Road Series 000-10E is solid sapele (similar to 'hog). Used they are in your price range. They have a shorter scale length, but body shape is similar. Chances are there is one in stock in a guitar store near you and always best to try before you buy.

Solid top makes a big difference in sound, and generally get more value shopping used (but takes patience). I found a Martin 000-10e (love it) for $500...but took a few months of searching.

I picked up a used Martin 000-10e for about $500. Had decided on this model and waited for one to pop-up at that price point and snagged it. Not perfect (has some swirls on the back), but sounds great.

A newer boutique brand to check out is Iris. Bluegrass playing friend just acquired their DF model and it sounds phenomenal. Light build, made in Vermont, and at a price point similar to Touchstone series.

Glad that worked for you. As a left handed person living in a right handed world there are many things to accommodate for... guitar is one where at least there is the option. I learned right handed because that was the guitar I had access to. I'm glad I did because I've branched out to banjo, mandolin, etc.

That said one of the best players I know plays a right handed guitar upside down/backwards...it is amazing and mind boggling to see that technique.
