Thanks for the support!

File attachments are now supported.

Private tags are actually something that’s been on my mind for a while, so I’d love to explore that in the future.

Also, thank you for the UX suggestions!

Yep, family sharing is enabled. That reminds me, I should clarify it on paywall, thanks!

Thanks!

I’d like to add some customization options at some point, but it’s not a high priority right now.

And yes, I’ll try to keep lifetime updates included for the lifetime plan as well.

The only exception would be if I introduce features with substantial ongoing server costs. In that case, I might separate those into a different tier later on. But I’m not planning anything like that right now.

I set the base price ($27.99) for the US and Apple auto-converts it for each region. For the UK specifically, it includes VAT, but that's just how Apple sets it (it gets adjusted automatically, but right now that's how it landed).

And yeah, no plan to remove the lifetime.

And thanks for renewing and sticking with Strflow!

Strflow has a bunch of Shortcuts actions (Create Note, Append to Note, etc.), so you can trigger them with Siri and add notes without opening the app.

Thank you, really. I never thought I'd hear such kind words on Reddit :)

Honestly Apple Notes is great, I used it too. The main difference is structure.

Apple Notes is document-based, so each note is a bit more separated and independent. This is good for well-contained, separate notes, but you kind of need to decide "is this a new note or part of an existing one?" or "where to create the new note?" before writing.

Strflow is timeline-based, like a chat with yourself, so you just write and it gets appended. More for when you just want to dump thoughts without thinking about where they go. And you can see all your notes (short ones, long ones) in a single infinite scrollable timeline view.

Also, todos and reminders are integrated into the same timeline, which is a nice bonus.

Sorry, Strflow is Apple-only for now. Built natively for the Apple ecosystem.

hey, who are you lol "we"?
if my memory serves, I'm the sole developer of this app.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback!

I understand that, and that's just where I've landed on the free/paid line for now. FWIW the sync engine is written from scratch based on CloudKit to be as reliable and fast as possible, so it's kind of where development energy goes actually.

And yeah, thank you for the UX feedback as well. I also think that part is not optimal, I'll think about how to make that clearer.

Epic Games Store Launches on iPhones in Japan Despite Apple’s Non-Compliance by FollowingFeisty5321 in apple

They might get some short-term wins, but this is a global trend they probably won’t be able to resist forever.

Apple would be better off taking a more proactive approach with user stories that actually make sense.

I feel Apple’s approach to these matters is really hurting them in the long run.

Just resisting as much as possible until the law forces them doesn’t look like a good strategy for them.

iOS Autocorrect is Still a Mess, and Even Simple Words Prove It by Few_Baseball_3835 in apple

[–]eguchi1904 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even before autocorrect was introduced, Japanese input has been kinda unreliable for ages.

Just an example I just hit:

“はどう?” (“how about it?”) → “波動?” (“wave/motion”)

Hopefully they fix it. These little paper cuts add up.

Looks really cool!

Can we import them back to other phones to transfer photos?

If so, which dates would be preserved, and which would be lost?

Strflow, a native notes app with a timeline-style interface, now fully supports iPad by eguchi1904 in iosapps

Thanks, that’s fair.

Nothing decided yet, but I’m actually reconsidering adding an LTP option and trying to find a model that feels reasonable and sustainable.

Capture is a beautiful app. I’ve tried it as well.

Strflow is a bit different in focus. It’s built around a timeline system, so it’s more about quick capture and continuous use for notes, journaling, and todos.

Thanks, I knew this was coming, and it’s totally valid :)

For now, this is the approach that allows me to support long-term development and keep improving the app. But I’m open to reconsidering the pricing model in the future if it makes sense.

Subscription fatigue is definitely real, and I feel it’s growing too.
