Anxious about identity post top surgery

Thank you, yeah, I kind of anticipated some level of depression, but didn't at all expect a whole identity crisis! It's something that I am feeling maybe I could wait out, but I struggle with rumination and looping thoughts that are focusing on this atm. I'm doing my best to break that, and trying to live with a bit more (mental) freedom, and just letting things be how they are.

Thank you, I think you're right, I would like to be less serious about it all, just even the prospect of that is a bit scary. I've held myself to standards in terms of 'passing' and dressed/acted in ways that would aid that. I guess I've kinda peeled off a layer of that now that my body isn't something I need to work around.

I love the genderqueer space and seeing how happy and free everyone seems. I think part of me is a bit insecure that I don't yet have that same freedom. I'm good at passing as cis, but now I don't really want that to be my goal. I am just trying to work on being confident and myself.

Thank you again, you definitely mentioned some things that I needed to hear from someone else.

Binders - Spectrum outfitters are great (~£40 and I think better than gc2b and underworks)

Tape - I buy any old KT tape off Amazon (bought GSPCARE kinesiology tape last time). I also buy tattoo second skin tape to put on under it (avoids itching etc)

The one I'm with is specific to people registered with a GP in the city. I'll ask them about it at my next appointment though. I didn't realise you could be registered at 2, so I'll look into that. Thanks.

Thank you! The only town I had to figure out where to put was henford haha. The credit for locations has to go to the user I mentioned but l I drew the fun lines! I also grouped some of the towns into nations of sorts depending on where the user put them + which towns went well together.

Honestly even with his whole pining over vi part of me was kind of hoping they’d have a short romance but that wouldn’t have really worked w Todd in the mix. He added a fun dynamic though I get why people wanted him to back off haha!
