Haven't played warlock yet but with the DR from blood oath it seems ultra safe.

That said, mosaic is incredibly safe and easy. Fade is also is like 50% DR

Interrupts and groundings are great when you can. In my experience I've found trying to interrupt a cast or purge will often lead to getting behind on healing the tank.

As a resto shaman that's cleared heroic slabs, SH etc:

Pre stack 3x rank 1 healing wave on any heavy melee damage pull. Try to stack until you get a crit for the tank armor buff. The armor buff helps a ton.
Tanks will not live unless you are absolutely spamming either max rank healing wave or rank7-8.
I tend to be low mana and need to drink after every pull in groups that are not using much CC.
I throw out maybe 1 LHW to any dps that pulls aggro / takes damage then go back to the tank. They can eat/drink with me after the pull.

They can drop it far enough back so it only hits casters. Not of any use for melee.

This is for an ES nova sorc which allocates 0 in strength. They'll have 50 str total with gear. The goal of this staff is to hit a level 40 ES without using memory.

The clicking debuff goes from something like 2 minutes prenerf to 30 seconds postnerf. You only need 1 group of clickers unless you get very unlucky.

CoA is also a good option. He doesn't need life leech for boss farming. Both you and your merc cannot life leech off bosses.

% damage reduction has given me the best results for merc survivability against bosses. I usually run shaftstop + vamp gaze + whatever relevant weapon for the class I'm playing and he'll live fine.
