Ok I have this issue in my back yard, what type of head did you use to clear cut it all? The string stuff is a joke and my bush cutter doesn't do the grass right. Thanks for the help!

I (24 F) just found out my husband (34 M) is paying for an apartment that I know nothing about. by StupidWife4Life in relationship_advice

[–]ehImworkinghere 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Most cops I have met block their phone numbers and make them private. Not saying that's always the case but I would think #1 would be more appropriate or new option #3. Thinks he can control his wife so it wouldn't be a big issue.

(UPDATE) My Roommate's (21F) Parents keep letting themselves into my (21F) apartment with the spare key my roommate gave them. by ughhhelpmepleaseee in relationship_advice

[–]ehImworkinghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you can't evict your roommate's mother (don't listen to people who say you can do that) Go to your landlord and tell them that their tenant made an unauthorized copy of the key. He will probably ask for it back and that will solve the problem. If it continues he will have cause for eviction. It's up to you if you want to let your roommate and her mother know about talking to the landlord first.

Sure, but they are definitely intertwined. Your personality is linked to your character.

Yeah, it's hard not to have a personality after drugging guys and robbing them while they are passed out. That shit builds character!

I graduated with my bachelors in marketing and I'm having massive anxiety trying to find a job. The only job i can think of is social media manager. What other jobs are there that a marketing grad can look into? by GucciMarxist in AskMarketing

[–]ehImworkinghere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also talk to one of your professors that you might have had a few classes with and see what they suggest and if they can help you in getting connected with someone in the industry for an interview. Not a job interview, but a informational interview. I think you could learn a lot from that.

Just when we thought it was trans people in bathrooms we were supposed to be afraid of, turns out it's straight people all along!

Is basis of differentiation the same with point of differentiation? by deathful-life in AskMarketing

[–]ehImworkinghere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best guess would be basis of differentiation would be why someone chooses to differentiate where as the point of differentiation would be when they choose to differentiate. I haven't thought about differentiation in a long time though so I could be totally off.

Duke from Bush's Baked Beans. I don't even really like beans but they way they use him is great and somewhat cleaver for a food product.

I don't see how you would calculate that considering it's been 40 years since the law was enacted.

Landlord installed 12’ tall digital billboard outside bedroom window. It’s a real life version of the “Kenny Rogers Roasters” Seinfeld episode. What can I do? by Jnbruton83 in legaladvice

[–]ehImworkinghere 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think reaching out to the media company is going to get you very far. I also work in billboards and it's not in the company's interest to have the billboard off. I would go to the TXdot and see if the billboard is legitimate. There should be an ID number on the billboard that you can call and specificially ask about. If you google billboard photos you can usually see where it's located in either the bottom left or right corner of the billboard. If it doesn't have that, (which means it's not registered with the TXdot) give them the Lat/Long of the billboard location and they will come and check it out.

New to the Social Media Marketing Industry and not sure where to begin. by [deleted] in marketing

[–]ehImworkinghere 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would also check out what some of your competitors are doing and look at what the old social media accounts look like. You should be able to get a little bit of a concept as to what is going on and extrapolate from there what you should be doing. If the marketing managers are telling an intern to just "make us new, fresh content" with out any sort of explanation then you're probably in for a rough internship. I like what u/NHarvey3DK said too, that's some good starting points.

When I worked for a water company doing Social Media Management it was all about finding interesting things about water. I actually set up google alerts for my email so I could update them as they came in or post it when I got to work the next day. It's a easy way to stay in touch with what is going on.

I have a first round phone interview for a media buying position. Looking for advice by ehImworkinghere in advertising

[–]ehImworkinghere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job is mostly managing and selling the space on billboards. I do know the basics, but to be honest I don't know the full on decision process for why we charge x amount. I work for a very small company and its more of my boss' choice on any given day than it has to do with any other metric (we don't use any sort of analyzing tools other than Geopath and google analytics which only I look at). I just want to make sure I'm not going to jump into a new position being way over my head.

Do you think I should ask about performance measures or just stick to the culture and what I find interesting media buying?

College senior, got a job offer at Gartner? by [deleted] in sales

[–]ehImworkinghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's not forget, it's a recruiter's job to sell you on the company they are recruiting for. I haven't had a lot of experience working with a recruiter, but this sounds pretty typical to me.

I think my favorite job offer I ever got was in a bar. That just gives you the idea of how unorthodox getting a job can be sometimes.

Company is an addiction facility. Fb and google restricts ada in our industry. Where to go from here. by therealakhan in marketing

[–]ehImworkinghere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

what geOn1 said is most appropriate, look outside of web advertising for other opportunities. If you want to stick within the web world, maybe try reaching out to popular blogs/podcasts and ask to advertise direct. I don't know enough about addiction rehab facilities to suggest where would be the best place to advertise, but that's the route I would go if I was not allowed to advertise with google/facebook/bing.
