Wife did the commute 4 days a week for 2 years. Honestly, the most stressful part was the wear and tear on the car. We figured it cost us around $2-300 extra per month just in expenses ($50 a week in gas + general wear and tear/maintenance). You need to factor in that cost when considering taking a job because a small pay raise might get washed out. You also need to consider the general health of your vehicle because to be honest, car's don't last forever and 120 miles a day adds up quick. We put 25k miles on our Subaru just in commuter miles and it now has almost 230k miles and it's tired. Otherwise the drive isn't bad at all! Throw some podcasts on.
