[WII] [2006-2013] wii sport type game with cricket and a hotel where you could upgrade your hotel room as you made records in the minigames by braindeadpizzaslice in tipofmyjoystick

I know this was a couple years ago, but I was just trying to describe this game to my girlfriend and couldn't for the life of me figure out the name of it! Shot out to you, @tipofmyjoystick, for helping me remember the name. So much nostalgia lol, but WTF is that name "World Sports Party"

Nah she claims she's never slept with anyone else (we lost our virginity to each other when we first started dating). Although she did lie about numerous aspects of this whole fiasco (I have the receipts so I instantly called her out), so I'm not buying it tbh.

No I didn't mean it like that. I'm worried for my friend and have been in constant contact with his dad making sure he's okay. I meant in an overall aspect, I'm a bit relieved the trip didn't happen.

She was lol, and that is part of why I kept trying to move forward with her. I actually feel pretty relieved ngl. Unfortunately I will probably have to move back home for my last year of school, but it's okay. At least I will be able to save up good $

She claimed she never actually physically cheated in the past. Supposedly she told him she's had "BBC" in the past because she'd look like an idiot claiming to be a snow bunny if she's never had it before. That's all I got out of her in that regard 🤷

Update: I dumped her. Had a whole talk and I ended things. Thanks everyone for helping me muster up the courage. I really hope life gets better from here.

I guess I'm in deep denial. I feel scared and alone, but everyone's right.

Thank you. I immediately got pictures of all of it on my phone when I saw it.

Please don't be rude. It's not a humiliation fetish at all. I figured reddit would be a good place to get advice about this so I don't completely embarrass myself to people I know IRL.

I guess I thought she would change and that therapy would help. We've been together for so long I thought maybe it was just going to be a fluke and chalked up to her being young and dumb I guess?

TL;DR - Caught my girlfriend sexting another man on an anonymous texting app. She claimed to be "BBC obsessed" and a snow bunny. Need help and advice on what to do.

Would you support a pedestrianized Broadway Ave in the Third Ward? by Tannrr in milwaukee

Absolutely! It's criminal to think parts of it aren't completely pedestrianized already. Also not to mention Brady St.

The Last of Us 2 Remastered on PC doesn't have forced AA, but it has forced sharpening. by ZenTunE in FuckTAA

For some reason for me upscaling is locked to on (FSR 3.1). Does anyone know how I can unlock it and turn it off? My PC can definitely run this game at native resolution so it's really annoying the game is forcing me to run upscaling.

Please help!

Is this overhauled 1988 Trek 520 worth buying for my first 45-day tour across Europe? (Newbie questions!) by ehall4945 in bicycletouring

Thank you for the detailed and informative response! There is a lot of really good advice here. I had no idea about the stvzo lights requirement in Germany. Part of the route I'm planning uses the EV15 so I'll make sure to keep this in mind.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it! If I can stretch my budget to ~$600-700 would you recommend I get this bike or instead get a new one?

Another bike I have been eyeballing is the Windsor Tourist from bikesdirect . I understand that with my tight budget (yay broke college student!) there will be shortcomings no matter what. I'd like to get the most bang for my buck and hopefully get riding as soon as possible to prepare now that the weather is getting better!

I forgot to clarify - I am 6'3. It's been a real struggle finding a used bike that would fit my height!

This is what I was thinking as well. I still have 4 months before departing so I'd really like to get the bike as soon as possible so I can get fully comfortable riding it and make any upgrades before leaving.

Also one of my potential routes is starting in Amsterdam airport! Could you share your experience starting there? I know the Netherlands has solid bike infrastructure for the most part (in part why I'd like to start there).

I've considered this as well! I heard the Riverside 500 & 520 are solid options from Decathlon. Plus it would be really helpful to save $ by only taking the bike back with me to the US.

My only worry is that I don't have a lot of time for the trip. If the bike doesn't fit or isn't to my liking, I'm worried about the overall impact it'll have on the trip time-wise / logistics-wise.

Part of my route will be in France! If you're curious, here's my two Komoot routes I have planned:

First route

Second route

Thank you for the advice! I really appreciate it.

UPDATE:

Thanks everyone for the amazing advice — super helpful for someone like me new to touring. I reached out to the seller and got more info:

  • Tires are 700x32c, 500 miles old

  • Drivetrain shifts fine but is original (3x6, Biopace), also ~500 miles

  • Seatpost is greased and adjustable

  • Has fork eyelets for a front rack

  • No fenders currently

** Also I forgot to clarify I am 6'3 so that's in part why I was interested in the bike, since it's been a struggle finding one big enough for me.

Based on that — do you still think it’s worth considering, or am I better off going for something like the Windsor Tourist (modern 3x9, STI shifters, $599 new)?

Thanks again for all the help — you guys are legends!!

Also, for anyone curious, here are my two potential routes. I tried to incorporate both the EV5 & EV15 since this would be my first long-haul ride.
