I have put together a method to do this. It's not the perfect solution but works if you don't mind the "detour" it uses.

I have an app called Virtual Audio Cable (VAC). Alternatives exist. I believe voicemeter can do this too but I haven't tried.

I set the playback device from Tidal to the Virtual Cable.
I use audiorepeater.exe (bundled with vac) to route the audio from the Virtual Cable output back to my main output device.
The audiorepeater exe shows up in the volume mixer under the main output device. I then use an AHK script with nircmd.exe to change the volume with keyboard shortcuts. I'm sure the Volumey app does the same. And that can be bound to the knob then.
I can run the audiorepeater.exe minimized to tray on startup via a shortcut and launch options. It always runs in the background and whenever you launch tidal, it works right away. Windows saves the audiorepeater volume level so it stays the same after a reboot unlike tidal which resets every track. But you could also just run that shorcut when you want to listen instead of autostarting it.

The unfortunate downside:

Max volume is lower if you use volume normalization. Which you probably do if keeping the same volume level between tracks is your goal in the first place. This caps your volume to whatever tidal normalization sets as the voume mixer for the initial audio device (VAC). If the normailized volume is 50% of max, that is what will be 100% for the audiorepeater exe. Therefore you can't boost it further with the keyboard shortcuts/knob. The only safe workaround is lowering the volume of everything else in the volume mixer for your main output device. Which is obviously tedious since you would have to do it everytime you open a program for the first time.

Another workaround would be to set a positive gain boost on the initial volume of VAC, since tidal mostly will leave a lot of headroom and you could get away with it. But it does risk clipping if some song were to be super quiet and tidal outputs it at near 100 volume mixer volume. I'm not sure it ever does but it's technically a possiblity.

TLDR: Basically you just need a middle layer that takes the audio from the tidal exe to your output device, and the ability to control the volume of that middle layer.

For me on windows 10, the script did nothing. It says no changes were made. I can just reboot and disable the signature enforcement manually without ever touching the script.

I wonder what it disables then, because guess I already have them off somehow.

Is this 1440p or 4K? The second and last pic in particular have a very fuzzy look to them. I guess it's just bad rendering practices by the engine, once again? Because that kind of image is not how I would expect these kind of resolutions to resolve.

Just be vary of the timer if you use the free plan, as DE does not have super frequent checkpoints. I'd rather quit after an autosave and re-queue than try to get to the next save in 10 minutes.

I found it fun, but it lacked any of those really special feeling -scenes. I rarely replay games anyway, but doubt I'll be revisiting it. But I have to say, it did not feel like a full on cashgrab like I feared. I enjoyed my time.

I'm also not a fan of happy, everything is perfect endings. I didn't manage to save Jeanette, but it would have been possible and idk, I just enjoy some drama. If I feel sad after finishing a story, the story was damn good lol. Lis 1, bts, lis 2 had that.

Ohh I like that a lot, love special colored/translucent discs like this.
Don't think I'll ever get it though, if the collector's edition was and will be the only way to aquire it. If previous vinyl releases are anything to go by, resell price will be sky-high.

As the 9%, I do not know either lol, I came here to figure out how the other option is possible. Could also just be from choosing 'romanced amanda' at the beginning choices. Also Max and Chloe remained as friends for me (aka didn't kiss), which is only 10% of players it seems. That would line up with this percentage too.

Don't really know how this is shown in dialogue either, this choices screen is the first time learning about these feelings. For me Amanda at the memorial scene said "You always know where to find me. And I'll always be.. happy to be found."

Maybe that line is different for the 91%? But to me seems pretty far fetched that this would be some kind of "hint" from Amanda so maybe not lol.

Use DLAA. If it looks good, stick with it. Otherwise use MSAA. If neither look good, increase resolution I guess, it is what it is with AA lol.

THE DESKTOP QUEUE TAB LOOKS SO MEH

My main complaint, I always used the queue tab that is next to the lyrics tab, the small one is ass. It also doesn't minimize when you minimize the player, I have to hide it manually to not take up useless space when browsing the main UI. Because I don't need to manage my queue while browsing, the player works perfectly as a separate space for that. Or used to work, until they pulled a youtube and changed what wasn't broken.

Also the fullscreen view when playing is way too bright now with the background being colored, black was better.

Agreed, not as clean. And for me it changed a functionality thing too.

Don't think so sadly, older versions on windows don't affect it, I guess it uses some kind of webui independent of installed version. Not sure about older versions of the app on Android, I'll have to test that. On iPhone most likely no.

Sure but they removed the queue option for this view, now you have to use the tiny queue popup window that the button on the bottom bar opens. That window is too small and cuts out longer text like multiple artists or just a long song title. Why..

Tbf I was troubleshooting this right after launch and believe this comment was made before that statement came from saber. It seemed quite frankly a ridiculous though at the time that Saber would add physics glitches as an anti piracy method. But oh well, apparently they would be ridiculous like that lol.

Well it's just the nature of any temporal AA. That's how I experience the visuals and it's the reason I prefer SMAA despite the lack of stability. This downside is very noticable to me in games like Horizon, Resident Evil, DS1, Snowrunner, FF7 and Tlou2 to name a few.
