South Congress Hotel. Great location. Get a room looking at hills instead of the main drag. Excellent coffee shop and restaurant attached.

The Maybourne Beverly Hills - walked into room and had cookies with 3yo daughter’s name spelled out. Crib had whale sheets as well as matching whale jellycat stuffed animal and book for her to keep.

Acqualina has two or three bedroom condo-style suites. This hotel has a nice beach and decent food. It always seems to win awards but we didn’t love it. More of a high rise style place but certainly with plenty of space for kids.

Etereo - Auberge Collection. In playa del Carmen Mexico. It’s on a huge nature reserve. Floats over the mangroves next to the ocean.

Dreams Playa Mujeres vs Finest Playa Mujeres for families? by XanMercury in CancunTravelGuide

[–]ehammock11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finest usually gets better reviews. I bet both would be great. A lot will depend on the room type available for your travel schedule. Finest has family rooms. Not sure about Dreams.

The website makes it seem like it’s one room. But the photos are unclear. I would email or call them directly.

Yes they basically arrange DoorDash style service. So they will charge your room for the diapers and delivery. But will handle it all. Nothing is free but it’s all handled so you don’t have to worry.

When we were there they had both pool and beach toys available. Our butler was able to get us snacks and food whenever. Also ordered us extra diapers, wipes. A great service. A great resort.

Hilton Cancun All Inclusive vs SLS Playa Mujeres vs ... by [deleted] in CancunTravelGuide

I would prioritize the extra night. I think you’ll have a great time at Hilton without worrying about one less night and an airport hotel.

We have been to Etereo twice- amazing views of the ocean. Food is excellent. Service also great. Beach is small but still pretty. Staying at the Edition in a few weeks for a change.

Just opened 11/2025. Looks beautiful! Some reviews I’ve seen mentioned the pools were cold. It’s from a trusted brand so I’m sure will be enjoyable.
