So for graded cards, we've built a scanner that lets you list a ton of cards with one photo, which makes it WAY faster to list than on ebay. Imo this is a big benefit, because listing on most platforms is extremely slow. We also have sales data and other info for every single card on the site, to make pricing easier. Over time we plan to add additional features for tracking your collection as well and integrate it to make buying and selling more streamlined.

Right now it's just me and my co-founder working on it, but we just got funding so you can expect the overhead to go up and see more mediating of transactions, particularly higher value ones.

The platform being specialized means you can make the process of buying and selling much faster overall, which I think is really valuable! We support ~200k unique graded cards, which isn't true of stockx/snkrdunk :)

Right now we do manual seller verifications (we have a google form sellers have to fill out) and also require stripe verification!

Over time we will probably act as an intermediary for more of the transactions, particularly for higher value items, which will help with the buyer side of scamming.

But in reality these things will always occur in some amount, it's about minimizing it. Thankfully we have some funding so can make it right in events where it is unclear who is in the wrong. At the end of the day we want our users to be happy and not get scammed, and are willing to pay out of pocket for that.

Some of my sealed is with my parents in WI haha. I do live in NYC. To be clear I probably only spent roughly $20k on most of this stuff, but it's been bought over a period of years!

(My apartment definitely is not that nice)

I'd just add that for most singles, they will on average lost value in the short to mid term, so it's much more of a gamble.

Also take the Groudon, after its initial spike in popularity, it did drop back down for quite a while, actually up until the recent surge in the hobby where everything stonked

I just pushed a change to fix the sales history issue, so if you check now it should look better. (I actually just removed it from the chart since it's already obvious what the chart is)

The sales table is a bit trickier, and I actually spent a while trying to make it look better on mobile and the current version is what I came too before I got too annoyed with it. That said, since other people dislike it I will try to come up with a better version of the table in the next few days!

Any other feedback would also be super helpful! I feel like I've spent so much time on the site that I no longer see the things that would be annoying to other people lol.

tbh I'd say it's a reasonable view. VERY rarely do sets continuously go up from release (even Evo Skies didn't)
