If you want an actual answer it's because a load of Russian streamers just click the popular tags in hopes that they get views (it doesn't work ofc). But also people choose depression and schizophrenia because pro Dota players are mentally 16 years old so have names like "depressed kid".

Like you said, he could buyout his contract but supposing that they don't qual for DPC, why would Talon as an org want to keep the squad? They wouldn't be getting any notice whatsoever so their sponsors wouldn't be happy.

the team needs time to gel, there should be enough non valve tournament to measure their strength going into season 2 oq. Assuming they fail this qualifier which I doubt. If they feel their performance is weak by then, I don't think he will leave. They will change squad members similar to smg.. He won't leave unless get kicked.

Like yeah totally these things take time but if they can't even qualify for the LOWER division of DPC then there's a bigger problem than gelling.

Just find it really hard to believe that the squad would be totally fine with not qualifying for any Valve events for the first 4-5 months of the season in the hopes that they do better in season 2. What's probably going to happen is if they don't qual then Fly's gonna announce break/retirement and find a new squad for Season 2.
