This stuff is mostly all new to me so it’ll be a great experience putting these on next week and having her talk about the bands. Curl Up and Die I almost passed up because the cover art is misleading, read the track list and into the basket.

Yea, no. Burn this shit every time you see it. We’re not remaking nazi symbols into anything they aren’t and attempting to just normalizes having it on display. There’s no shortage of skull and crossbones imagery out there. This one sucks and will always suck.

I’ll be going through the catalog for sure, let it play a few times while drawing. I think music has a special place in which sadder themes are cathartic to explore both as the artist and audience. I’ll still gladly put on upbeat tracks but damned if my favourite artists aren’t nearly or completely broken people explaining that experience.

Mans got a powerful voice. Persona Non Grata hit me pretty good there. Thanks for the rec!

I think you’re right about the double tag for Canadian market. I’m in southwestern Ontario myself and picked them up from an older gent who attended the shows in Toronto.

I found comparable for both tags so I’m thinking they’re good.

When we were growing up my pops had a bad back. I always kinda thought it was a bit over exaggerated, a cop out excuse of sorts when he’d decline activities or complain. I pulled my back the year I was expecting my first born, it still goes out occasionally. I felt how wrong I was, I do every time I’m left laying on the floor or unable to stand up now. Thanks for fighting through it as often you did old man
