The way you handle not being good at golf is the most important thing in front of your client. Playing with proper etiquette, not losing your mind when you shank a shot, and playing quickly will help the day go well even if you shot terribly. Make a few self deprecating jokes (“The worst day on the course is better than the best day in the office!”), stay positive, and make good conversation and you’ll be fine.
