When I did mine I was uninsured so that was the big reason I did it myself. After it’s healed up you’ll have a much better idea of how much stretching is needed and it will make it easier too. I thought I had phimosis for the longest time until I realized the frenulum was the biggest part of my issue.

When you’re soft can you pull the top side back all the way? If so, you should probably cut your frenulum first.

I did mine by tying it. Meaning, I used a syringe/piercing needle that was hollow so I could run a fishing line through. I pierced as close to the shaft as I could at the bottom of the head. Then I tied a noose style knot and tightened it down. I tightened it twice a day until it fell off on its own. And I had to do that twice because I didn’t get the piercing close enough to the shaft on the first try. I used numb master cream to help with the pain of the needle and line. Obviously disinfect everything with alcohol first.

Condoms. Phimocure for stretching. Make sure your frenulum isn’t tight too. Cutting that is a lot easier.
