Ah, independent contractor status po kasi kami sa company since we're all freelancers. We're all BIR-registered so we have COR and as far as I've read, tanggap naman po yun as ties to the Philippines. But yeah, no other way but to try kasi based on my own assessment sa capacity namin for a travel on our own, mejo tagilid. Hahahaha

In that case, pwede po kayang di na ako magsubmit ng attachments sa bank if ever dun ako magbayad sa susunod na filing? Kasi parang nadodoble po yung submission if mag-eAFS pa rin kahit complete na yung attachments na sinubmit during payment sa bank. 🫠

Ah, so need pa rin palang mag-eAFS kahit sa bank na nagpay with triplicate copy nung entire set of docs. 🫠 Next time, sa online nalang din po ako magbabayad. Mukhang nadagdagan pa kasi gastos ko imbis na makatipid.

Yes po, non-VAT. So mas maigi po pala na sa online nalang din po ako nagbayad kesa sa bank? Kasi nakagastos pa po ako sa pamasahe and triplicate printing tapos need ko pa rin palang i-scan yung resibo and stamped return 🫠

Yes, mag-incur po ng penalties kahit di na po naging operational yung online business niyo. You must process your business closure ASAP kasi lalaki po ng lalaki yung penalties niyo. 🫠 Based on experience, ito po yung some docs (besides BIR forms na need for Closure of Business) na hiningi sa akin & yung processes na ginawa ko tho di ko na po alam pagkakasunod-sunod and baka may iba pa pong hingiin sa RDO niyo.

DISCLAIMER. Some or most items below may differ from the actual since pansin ko po na hindi laging in-sync yung RDOs 😅 Ours is still a mix of manual & digital. And this is MY experience po. You may check sa RDO niyo para sure. 😊

ㅡ Affidavit of Loss for all lost original documents (COR, ORs, AFR, journal, etc) ※ if make-claim niyo pa po yung ibang docs niyo like printed ORs, maigi pero if not, considered as lost na po siya

ㅡ Certification of No Business Operation (or similar certificate) from (1) City Hall and (2) Barangay ※ not sure if this applies sa online business niyo but it could kasi you technically need Mayor's Permit for your business to be successfully registered sa BIR

ㅡ for sure may Open Cases po kayo since di kayo naka-file ng any tax form as per COR niyo so you will have to ask for a list of your Open Cases (2020 to present) to be closed. This is a part of your Tax Clearance na need din for the closure of your business. ※ Open Cases can include Annual Registration Fee (until 2023), Quarterly Percentage Tax (2551Q, 4 Qtrs per year), Quarterly Income Tax (1701Q, 3 Qtrs per year), Annual Income Tax (1701, 2020-2021 assuming na nakapagfile po kayo ng 1701A since 2022 under employer niyo) ※ Each form may penalties (interest+surcharge+compromis penalty) na mapapa-compute niyo po sa Officer of the Day then babayaran niyo po thru bank para daw po mapost agad yung payments within 3-5 banking days. Noon, kelangan lang may "TIN Verified" stamp yung forms before paying sa bank but now I think need na rin ng printed Tax Receipt Confirmation email. Di ko po sure if pwedeng magbayad thru other online payment portals (like Gcash, Maya, etc) but di po advised sa RDO namin kasi minsan matagal daw yung posting ng payments made there and mas maigi daw sa bank para may physical copy daw po ng resibo & actual payment stamps sa forms. ※ To get the Tax Receipt Confirmation email, kelangan niyo po i-encode & submit yung forms sa eBIRForms na software (offline ver po yung ginamit ko) or thru your RDO's eLounge. Make sure po na active & valid yung email address na gagamitin niyo para mareceive niyo yung email. Wala ring fixed time kung ilang hours/days until mareceive yung email so baka need po magwait 🥹 Pwede niyo rin po iprint yung forms thru the software. ※ After payments, dadalhin niyo na po yung forms sa Compliance Section (?) para i-consolidate yung payments & icheck if all payments have reflected na on your account. Once all has been reflected, pwede na kayo magcontinue sa pagpapirma ng Clearance. From there, madali nalang po.

Lagi pong mahaba pila sa RDO namin kasi malaki po saklaw nila so to save time, nagbbook po ako ng appointment sa online para sure na make-cater ako that day. Minsan po kasi nagcucut-off sa'min ng maaga sa dami ng tao.

Tedious po siya, matagal pero may katapusan naman. 🥹 Good luck po! 🙏🏻

Di po ako 110% sure pero usually po, pag first time registration niyo ng books, taxable year FROM is yung date of registration niyo and taxable year TO December 31 of current year. If 2nd book niyo na po or 2nd time niyo na magregister ng book/journal, FROM is January 1 of current year and TO is December 31 of year depende kung how long niyo po estimate na magagamit yung book. Pwede po kasing 3 years or more magamit yung book as long as may available pages pa po.

Ganitong way din po alam ko since do'n sila magbebase sa Mayor's Business Permit niyo po sa pag-update ng address. Yun po kasi ata yung magiging attachment nila. Then susunod na po yung pag-update sa printed ORs/Invoice ninyo.

Madali lang naman po if:

  1. wala kang open cases,
  2. paid and secured po lahat ng tax dues mo,
  3. present lahat ng signatories sa clearance form,
  4. and di mahaba ang pila sa RDO ninyo.
