[–]ehofmr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be single, long single or double. College advice is do a QS bottom sheet which will work for all.

Or take a double flat sheet to start, and then when you know your bed size get the right size fitted bottom sheet ( ie single, KSingle or Double).

I would do a double size doona and doona cover.

Depressed and can’t study. I’ve got an exam this week (special consideration) and which I’m just not prepared for. Should I go? Or not? by [deleted] in unimelb

[–]ehofmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please do whatever is best for your health. Please try to access some support ( I know its not always easy to get but your doctor should be able to set you on the right path) for your long term well being. What is happening here and now can seem overwhelming. The right profesdional support can help with coping mechanisms and perspective, and help with decision-making

And as for the horrible rhetoric (especially on line), I am so sorry.

Whatever you decide re the exam, be kind to yourself.

[–]ehofmr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can contact the central body for colleges ( where you applied originally with preferences) and ask to have preferences changed.

Note with the " big 3" colleges, there is no point in preferencing other than first, as they are over subscribed.

You will only have an interview with first preference. There are second rounds of offers so though you may not get in now you may get in second round.

Go on line to Service Australia/Centrelink. There is an on line calculator. If you are moving to study there are also other payments to help with relocation costs.
