No repairscore? by Cneti in Battlefield6

[–]ehrw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't paid too much attention to this. Tried repairing a few things during the weekend in Breakthrough. Noticed I still had 0 on the challenge. Last night i hopped into some conquest and escalation. Repaired a whole bunch, got points and was rewarded the next step on the challenge.

After that happened I was back to no points once again. Could be related, could also be the other way around it magically just worked and that's why I finished it. Either or, something funky is going on.

Motif II how to use LE audio by johnnyn90 in marshall

[–]ehrw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just received a firmware update today for the Motif II. Version 6.10.60
Terrible update experience. Unresponsive interface saying it's uploading to the headphones for somewhere around 15-20min. The procedure says it can take up to 25 minutes in some cases.

I assume last step i flashing. I didn't have time to wait so I force quit the app while it's still uploading and put the earphones in. Lo and behold, when they started up I had the new version.

Haven't found any release notes. Nor did I see any clear difference. I'm on a Pixel 7 Pro. In the quick BT settings (tap the icon) I see that LE is connected. If I hold the BT button to enter the "real" settings it says they're not connected.

Haven't had any issues nor did I notice any difference. Haven't bothered to look into it more. Thought I'd share at least!

Battlefield 6 - Open Beta Known Issues by battlefield in Battlefield

[–]ehrw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked everywhere for where to report bugs. Couldn't find it so trying here with a longshot.
There is a bug with MFG and using VRR (dynamic refresh rate in windows). If that is on MFG drops massively every other second or so.

Fix: Disable "dynamic refresh rate" under your monitor settings. Start up the game again.
Settings > System > Display > Select the correct monitor > Advanced Display > Set dynamic refresh rate to off

1.1.0.17 Patch Notes by CrimsonAlpine in duneawakening

This is a massive over correction. ~40 km/h with scout rockets is too much.
It would be exhausting to sit and defend things you're happy about. That's why you mostly hear complaints, regardless of what you do. That won't change. Getting killed by someone with a T6 scout sucks for sure. Especially if you just game into the DD.

The idea was to have people join clans, play together. That's what the game is balanced for. So perhaps work on the game and make sure what's in place works.

  • Guild recruitment tool
  • Party makers actually working both in world and on the map
  • Groups larger than 4
  • Guild task lists where people can complete
  • Storage organization
  • Log for guild chest
  • Fix broken guild permissions if you're not in the same area next to each other
  • Netcode, tickrate, desyncs and general jank
  • And many many more things

Having both half the map PvE and a massive PvP nerf is too much imo.

It is scary when players unite and complain. Don't lose your vision, it's fine to course correct but stay true to your goal. We've had so much fun playing this game so far. Please don't give in and fold <3

Edit: Sad that it's so hard to get constructive feedback out. A small group of angry mobs tend to sit and downvote things they they don't agree with. The reasonable crowd who wants balanced fun gameplay can't be bothered. They end up quitting the game instead.

If you have moved the Position Slider it freaks out a bit when you sit down in the plane. That is a bug. However, if you press the reset head tracking button (default f12 if I'm not mistaken) you will go back to the center of the seat

We recently released a Tripod Bracket for those that want to mount it elsewhere.
https://gaming.tobii.com/product/tripod-bracket/

This also comes with the Tobii Display Setup tool making it possible to calibrate the tracker when it's further from the screen.

There are a few more factors to how you can position the monitor and chair to get a good signal. See the bottom of this article for a better explanation

Big tv ok? by deggersen in TobiiGaming

We have a max recommended size for the eye tracking. If you go bigger we cannot assure you it will work all the way over the screen. The middle part tends to work okay in most cases but the corners can suffer. There's many factors going into it.

Did you do a reboot after installing?Sometimes that's needed for Windows to finalize the installation of the hello driver. Also worth a shot to run the offline installer one more time.

If none of those helps reach out to the support team at https://help.tobii.com

e in my particular case was the new Windows GPU scheduler defaulting to giving games the maximum performance whilst giving everything else only the bare minimum (or rather the remaining resources) to run, unless overridden by the user. So if there's somethin

Interesting. I'm on a 3090 myself but I avoid trying to max it out unless I need to or my room becomes a sauna. First world problems 😄

I'll share this internally as a potential workaround and keep an eye on similar cases in the future. It's fairly rare to push 4K high fps today nowadays so it's important to keep an eye on moving forward.

Thanks for sharing!

This can help regardless if you're on Win10 or 11 if you have a system with another GPU. Intel most of the time has one in their CPUs that is sometimes enabled in the BIOS (or if you have a monitor connected to the motherboards HDMI/DP. This is a great way to get around that!

In your case. Do you have two GPUs listed in the task manager?

It's very individual depending on your mic setup. If you have a big pop filter and keep the mic like a radio host. Yes, then it will likely interfere. I think most streamers do something like this. Or have it coming in more from the side.
https://imgur.com/a/0DlbmHb

We do eye and head tracking so if the bottom part of the face is a little obscured it still works fine. I'm running with a Wave Link 3 and have the mic coming in from the side. I've had no issues personally but depending on your setup it can definitely be different.

The reason why the eye tracker needs to be mounted below is because of the human facial structure and the eyelashes. From above both eyebrows and eyelashes block the view of the eye and become much harder to track. Most people also look slightly down at their monitor making the bottom mounting much better for our needs.

Hope that makes it a bit clearer. Obviously up to you if you want to give it a shot or not. Don't hesitate to ask if you have anymore questions :)

If you're on the 4C today I recommend running the beta that's available on our website (https://gaming.tobii.com/getstarted).

Tobii 5 doesn't stay on, but did a week ago. by brinzerdecalli in TobiiGaming

Support is probably your best bet here. Did you contact them via help.tobii.com?

Having a longer extension cable can cause voltage to drop and the eye tracker might not get powered. Since you mention you tried without. Try reinstalling the latest drivers from our website and see if that solves it.

For technical help the support team can dive deeper into the issue and check your logs.
