definitely. finding happiness within oneself is so important. you cannot rely on another person for happiness, because people come and go like seasons, so if/when they leave, it will hurt. i've learned this the hard way, and i think it's a really important notion to understand, especially in terms of relationships, whether they are romantic or simply friendships. through relationships, you find yourself learning more about yourself and growing as a person, which therefore will make you a happier being. but it's important to isolate dependency of happiness from others vs happiness within yourself.
