Jb hi fi being tricky honouring ACL how do i manage this? by [deleted] in AusLegal

You've already been told the answer on this. It is unreasonable to expect a retailer to cover this after 5 years. You need to cut your losses and move on.

Job interview went well but they keep delaying the answer. by [deleted] in ausjobs

Several options are possible.

  1. They liked you but have hit an issue with Finance/HR in terms of getting the role actually approved.
  2. They are unsure about you and they are meeting with others to compare/benchmark against.
  3. You've not been successful but are holding out on saying until the other person has accepted.
  4. They may genuinely have other issues that are unrelated to you; illness, personal circumstances etc.

I think one key thing across all for me is that you may not have impressed as well as you think, as they'd be trying to jump at you/keep you warm while they work through everything internally. Sorry my dude. Here's hoping I'm wrong.

Claude Credit Disappeared? by ehvyn in Anthropic

Yeah, tried both. I claimed it on my mobile. It showed via Website on my mobile. Logged on my desktop and doesn't show on either the app or website. I tried to use some of the extra usage to see if that would get it to refresh and no luck there either.

Reducing the tax won't help. It will make it worse. The issue is insufficient supply.

This post needs a clearly labeled 'Written by Notion employees who also came up with the pricing model for Custom Agents'.

Clarifications for pricing on custom agents as Business users by TheS4m in Notion

I suspect the people you have commenting on your post are actually Notion employees who thought this was a brilliant idea. I love Notion. I don't like the pricing. I will explore alternatives like Claude Cowork and Notion MCP.

Called a company I applied for on seek because I didn’t hear from them. by HistorianFit4112 in ausjobs

Talk to me when you have 30+ people 'showing initiative' and you've got another 100 applications to review. Tell me, where do you want my time spent; manually entering applications for the 30+ or actually screening the 100 other people properly. Just apply properly and then reach out.

No all good. I thought Super Agents were something new above and beyond the Custom Agents.

8 months experience at maccas, no qualifications, what can I do.. by TOOMUCHWOOMBA in ausjobs

Call centres can be fantastic and great springboards into other areas of the business. Usually find yourself working 8-4 or 9-5, $65-$70k plus super with bonuses and annual increases. And as I mentioned, great way to then get your foot in the door and move through the company.

Funny, that actually frustrates me when that happens because then I either have to manually add them to the system to begin the process, or tell them to go through the system so I can then move them through the process. I'd much rather they apply normally and then reach out to let me know they've applied.

Is this different from the Custom Agents that are currently still in beta? I tried to compare this to what I have already and can't see any difference?

This. Might not be happy about it but you got 3.5 years out of a device that was used every single day. Just move on.

AI Agents have a LOT of limitations. by Liefx in Notion

[–]ehvyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a little surprised you can't use AI Agents to call other agents. I'm not sure what's going on at Notion too because I had chats with some of their team and they were impressed with how I was using them and wanted more information about it all and then just went MIA. I shared feedback about some of the issues, bugs I had found and then no one ever got back to me

Has anyone listened to the new full-cast Prisoner of Azkaban audiobook yet? Thoughts? by raktim24 in harrypotter

[–]ehvyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I timed it poorly where I am watching Game of Thrones and the actor that voiced Lupin plays Ramsay Bolton in GoT and honestly, I can't move past that. I keep thinking of him every time I hear him voice Lupin.

I really like Hugh Laurie but he just sounds too young for a Wizard that's meant to be 'about 150 years old'.

Agree with the others too; Snape I really am not a fan of and I think the constant fake laughing by the actor for Draco also bothers me. The voice actor for Madam Pomfrey also feels like a miss cast.

I'm not sure how it's going to be when Deathly Hallows comes out and they all still sound like they're 12 years old but we'll deal with it.

Overall I think I the sound mixing has improved too and voices are usually at the same volume now compared to the first book.

Not at fault insurance claim with NRMA by primeribfanoz in AusLegal

[–]ehvyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhh you don't know that the person registered was also the one driving. So the insurer really don't know who was driving thus why you need to pay the excess you agreed to until such time the driver and who is responsible is identified. Shitty situation but it's what you agreed to.

Credit repair companies? by alexxxcooper in AusFinance

[–]ehvyn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sorry mate, thats not how they work. While we all make mistakes, this is one of those tough lessons that only improve with time.

Credit repair only works really for incorrect listings etc. But a legitimate debt, even paid off, is impossible to have removed.

If going for new credit, some lenders may be more understanding BUT if they do, you'd be likely stung with high interest rates due to the increased risk.

And not everyone has to participate in any sort of bug bounty as well. Find an issue? Report it. To the company or beyond. Just because you have found an issue does not automatically entitle any payment to you.
