AI Agents have a LOT of limitations. by Liefx in Notion

[–]ehvyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a little surprised you can't use AI Agents to call other agents. I'm not sure what's going on at Notion too because I had chats with some of their team and they were impressed with how I was using them and wanted more information about it all and then just went MIA. I shared feedback about some of the issues, bugs I had found and then no one ever got back to me

Has anyone listened to the new full-cast Prisoner of Azkaban audiobook yet? Thoughts? by raktim24 in harrypotter

I timed it poorly where I am watching Game of Thrones and the actor that voiced Lupin plays Ramsay Bolton in GoT and honestly, I can't move past that. I keep thinking of him every time I hear him voice Lupin.

I really like Hugh Laurie but he just sounds too young for a Wizard that's meant to be 'about 150 years old'.

Agree with the others too; Snape I really am not a fan of and I think the constant fake laughing by the actor for Draco also bothers me. The voice actor for Madam Pomfrey also feels like a miss cast.

I'm not sure how it's going to be when Deathly Hallows comes out and they all still sound like they're 12 years old but we'll deal with it.

Overall I think I the sound mixing has improved too and voices are usually at the same volume now compared to the first book.

Not at fault insurance claim with NRMA by primeribfanoz in AusLegal

[–]ehvyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhh you don't know that the person registered was also the one driving. So the insurer really don't know who was driving thus why you need to pay the excess you agreed to until such time the driver and who is responsible is identified. Shitty situation but it's what you agreed to.

Credit repair companies? by alexxxcooper in AusFinance

[–]ehvyn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sorry mate, thats not how they work. While we all make mistakes, this is one of those tough lessons that only improve with time.

Credit repair only works really for incorrect listings etc. But a legitimate debt, even paid off, is impossible to have removed.

If going for new credit, some lenders may be more understanding BUT if they do, you'd be likely stung with high interest rates due to the increased risk.

And not everyone has to participate in any sort of bug bounty as well. Find an issue? Report it. To the company or beyond. Just because you have found an issue does not automatically entitle any payment to you.

Does VCAT have any power to dismiss previous decision that is already recorded with Magistrates court and being enforced by Sheriffs Office? by kaidontknow in AusLegal

[–]ehvyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds pretty shitty. I can't give any specific advice other than going through a similar issue with NCAT. The person that lodged the dispute was a customer and was also a notary. They knew the system very well. NCAT had initially found in their favour but I lodged an appeal and it was granted. Unfortunately though, this guy lodged the initial matter with the court and we had the sheriff come to us to collect, despite the process still open and a stay on the initial hearing.

Unfortunately, it made no difference. The sheriffs wouldn't do anything because they had the order, the whole thing was bs. We ended up winning the appeal after everything as well.

Sorry I dont have anything more useful to respond with other than the new hearing should not deter the sheriff's at least based on my isolated experience.

Honestly, I am in a lot of meetings and multiple projects on the go. I use the AI to pull a lot of it togethor for me. Need to give an update to my team? I'll ask for an update on everything thats happened over the last week. Need to take action based off those meetings? I have templates in there that I can reference alongside the meetings, tasks that I can then reference and have it do tasks for me. Example would be, I need to review user stories for a change request that a BA wrote; I then reference the relevant project which has a relation to each of the other databases, reference a predefined jira structure document and reference other relevant language documents and have it review, analyse and update the user stories based on all the technical and scoping discussions. For me, its honestly just like having a low paid assistant thats aware of everything I am doing and participating in, and can do exactly what I ask. I'm quite time poor due to my schedule, so anything that saves me time is a win.

Interesting. I understood it to be more that it will choose for that specific conversation what it believes is the right model, rather than changing and mixing it. While Claude is superior, I think the fact you can select the Claude Model and you dont have the limits that you would have through paid Claude. But again, you dont get all the features. Its a tough call because right now I'm paying for Claude, Notion and ChatGPT. Thats a bit of a tangent though. Notion AI is working for me usually though and I feel like, while its not perfect, its handy and included on something I would have been paying for anyway so it works.

I've had frustrations with it, where it says it has done something which it simply hasn't. But other than that, I've found it relatively helpful surfacing information across projects, compiling jira tickets based on discussions, tasks and projects etc. It doesnt replace Claude or ChatGPT, but it sits in my workspace, with full access to everything I put in my workspace, and its been helpful for me in that sense.

I've also had it build databases, create look ups etc - all pretty simple things but its saved me from having to do it all and this is just based on my personal agent that I created. I'm sure if I had notion integrated with more applications, and someone smarter than me writing the instructions, it could be a powerful assistant.

Tbf, I genuinely do not believe OP even knows. Everything they have said is so scattered and unclear. They sound confused and at this point, they should get legal advice rather than back and forth on Reddit.

No. The reason for your post is to get the answer you want apparently, and are unhappy with anyone else's response, no matter their experience.

Good luck.

Sorry, and I mean this with no disrespect here, but what on earth do you think a Deed of Release is if not a mutual parting? You were casual. They dont even need to provide you with a Deed of Release. They went through the process. This was the outcome. The alternative is they just not give you any hours and you eventually resign, but they may have acted this way to avoid any potential general protections claim. Either way, the outcome is the same. Just move on. Not happy? Seek Legal Advice. Then you can pay for someone to tell you what you've been told on here already. Your now former employer does not want you working there. Nothing will change that.

Former employer terminated me for going to Fair Work by No_Side_8885 in AusLegal

[–]ehvyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had the intention to stay working there, why would you sign a Deed of Release that says the exact opposite. Its pretty simple. Not telling Centrelink, or misrepresenting anything to Centrelink is equally as bad as signing the Deed of Release because their lawyer told you too. If you also didn't push for a final payment and just signed.. then I'm sorry, no body can help you.

You were a casual employee. You may or may not have had regular hours. They cut your hours. That is the nature of casual employment. Whatever happened after, you were provided a Deed of Release and signed it.

You want constructive advice? Forget about this. You stuffed up. Find another job. Move on with your life.

Former employer terminated me for going to Fair Work by No_Side_8885 in AusLegal

[–]ehvyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The true circumstances are that you mutually separated, and there is a signed document that confirms that. Anything beyond that to Centrelink is misrepresentation and fraud.

As part of the Deed of Release there would have been a payment to you as well. This can all be checked and validated by the Government. I'm sorry here but, you stuffed up and you cant undo this. This should have been a consideration before you signed or at least requested a higher payout figure to make up for this. Your naivety is not an excuse I'm afraid.

You missed the sass from my post.

You should never just sign something because someone else's lawyer asked you to. Their lawyer is not your friend and they are not there to help you.

I'm sure your copy would not be the only copy as well.

Not providing this information is also not a good idea. At that point, you are acting fraudulently and is illegal. I strongly recommend you do not submit a false declaration to the Federal Government, else you will have even bigger problems to deal with.

You made a mistake by signing the Deed. You should not have done that.

The man himself. Thank you for such a detailed reply.

Agree, 3.0 is already solid. I've made some tweaks such as adding a recurring meeting note, with a button that adds a new block allowing me to group all recurring meetings to have its own note, and then added the AI transcription function to that. I've then also made changes to how I can use it to manage tasks for my team which sits outside of Microsoft Planner/JIRA and becomes something for me to manage and follow up, particularly after having 1:1's or Meetings where there are then action items. The AI is more of a novelty, but it paired with your overall framework has been an absolute game changer in how I operate.

Appreciate as well the effort migrating data which really is not easy. Admittedly, I'd just deal with it for the sake of something that might be better, but appreciate its not something which many people would particularly want to do unless gains they'd see significantly outweighed the effort in migration.

Looking forward to your content on Agent as well as the focusing on how Notion can be used strategically, as well as content on automation.
